In this episode of Wisconsin Foodie we profile a new wave of farming, from multigenerational farming roots to first generation pizza making. Kyle visits Stoney Acre Farm in Central Wi. We meet a young family that has decided to stay on the family farm but try something totally different, a pizza farm. To compliment their CSA program, every friday night in season the family opens their farm to the public for a popup pizza shop on the farm. From the crust to the veggies, everything comes from the farm. Utilizing two brick ovens that living outside they have taught themselves the art of pizza making and the community has taken notice as hundreds of people come out each friday.

Awww, the way they are making the pizza is so cute. It reminds me of how my grandmother figured things out in the kitchen. haha.

I think I’ve watched this video at least 20 times. If the owner sees this, can I please vacation on your farm for like a week?! Looks like a dream place to visit. I’ll work for free!

A farm dedicated to making pizza... If this is what heaven is like, I'll abandon my atheistic ways right now.

So from the garden to the kitchen with out even an apron, then across a dusty driveway that has active traffic.. Yea, think i will pass.

The road that they cross carrying the pans isn't used by cars during serving hours. Also they aren't a processing plant where sterilization is necessary for shelf life. It's heated and prepared to be eaten there or the the day after you get them.

So much better than a city restaurant where they use under paid migrant workers who pick their ass and nose while on break and haven’t seen a sink let alone hot water and soap

Also aprons are more to keep your clothes clean from flour rather than sanitation, not necessary at all, mostly for convenience.
