Some family members don't want the best for you, some actually don't like you for no reason and would try to destroy you and anything in your life. I know it hurts but we need to know we deserve so much better therefore we need to let them go even family.

Yes!!! And Ive just learned this about several friends of mine who never were friends all these years. Like you said they dont like you and dont want the best for you, i have family like that and Ive finally realized over the course of 3 years several 10 year plus "friends" were never real friends. Nowadays, it's just so much going on and a lot of people are no longer genuine. Most good people are being used or taken for granted. You just need to guard your heart and be careful out here. It's dangerous.

Amen to that, very true. I personally feel like as long as a person has a relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ, they'll definitely be helped in this area in life. The spirit of decrement is a beautiful thing and shouldn't be taken for granted.

@@43one He could be taking away who she is.. when I was with my exe he was very toxic narcissist. I done everything for him, including starting a business for him. He treated me like I was nothing & destroyed my self-esteem & sense of self. I didn't even know who I was anymore, my friends & family would tell me how much I had change. I even went to counseling and my counselor was telling me I need to leave the situation. I came to a point where I felt like one of us had to die, & I honestly didn't care which one of us .. it was. Beating & cheating are not the worst things & person can do to u. A person can destroy u

I was used by my last boyfriend. I was the one always doing things for him and paying for nice food and birthday presents. On my birthday I didn't even get a card. I would pick him up from the airport every time he would come to see me and I had to get two buses to meet him in the centre of the city because it would cost him money. He said if you want me to meet you at the airport you can pay half for the taxi. I would take him to the cinema and pay, but when I would visit him and suggest to go out and watch a movie he would say no because it costs euros. I am no longer going to be used by anyone and finally concentrating on myself because the red flags were there but I ignored them

You deserve your happiness by setting your boundaries no matter what anyone else thinks or opinionates of you, end that cycle of unappreciative people and accept your peace of knowing no one has the permission to hurt you without you letting them, cut them off as soon as they show you how convenient it is for them to just use you, it is their loss, love and light to you beautiful!

The most frightening part of letting go is being alone. The next is knowing where to start. I have gotten so caught up in satisfying toxicity I lost myself. I realized I am loving what I see and who I am when I gained knowledge of myself my strength and my power. It was then things started changing and I LOVE IT, I LOVE ME!!

I learned this the hard way with former friends and even my most recent ex. His effort stopped after he pursued me very hard. Things became one sided and cold the last 2 months we were together. I'm thankful God urged me to walk away no matter how much it hurt, instead of keeping trying to fight for someone who could care less.

I've gotten to the point where I'm a recluse. I blow people off and stay to myself. I get tired of these females wanting to call me to dump their problems off. They think I'm narcissistic because I will tell them to get another one when they have habitual relationship problems. My friend was like "another husband?". I said bluntly "YES, get another one. This seems to be an everyday thing." She was speechless, but I'm soooo tired of being an empath and people wanting free counseling and enabling to stay in their bullshit and stew in it. I'M DONE SON. LOL

Im starting to really appreciate when people show me who they are. Sort of late in the game but better than never!Before I used to be in denial, searching and clinging to the few good traits I could find in toxic relationship or ones I grew out of. Im rising from the ashes now, I think. Feels like I am! I need discernment, straight up!

I do for my partner everyday cuz I choose to. But I never get the same in return. When I express how I feel I am complaining but she can tell me how she feels and still makes it my fault. YAZZ my family ganged up on me last Thanksgiving they laughed as i walked out the door.... there had many micro disrespects...that last time sent me running and crying... I said i breaking ties! Guess what credit shot up, bank approval job and savings came right after that blew their minds i am buying a house, and those who knew had more money made like they wanted to talk to me ..but found out thye just wanted mor and more money... I'm female who's a drug dealer and a prostitute but I got the best heart or what I thought was the weakest heart in the world but it's not that!!! I'll never get greatly ahead doing what I'm doing cuz I give too much too many people that are using me I'm 53 years old been to prison three times and I'm just beginning to realize this listening to you Trent and I thank you and maybe if I keep on I've gotten rid of some people in my life and took them back but I'm done and I'm feeling strength and power by sticking to my decisions thank you and I pray for a better life but I believe I'm in this life because who's going to reach the bottom if somebody ain't at the bottom thank you Trent you truly chose an blessed....

Heyo;) Been mentally & physically Beaten Down for 27 years.....Recently found the courage to leave,lived in my vehicle while working and saving rather than go back ...I made it,I have my own home for a month .He buggin now,calling,fighting with me if I can’t take him where he needs to go,making petty threats..,I almost fell back into his bs.. you made me cry,I your truth punched me harder than he ever could with his fist or words of hate...I appreciate you ! Best of luck to you Virginia, pray, trust, obey & listen to that quiet voice you hear FIRST… not the loud voice that usually comes after the quiet one- that’s usually not from God & usually the easiest choice. I’m 54 and ready to start being happy too, my children are teens & 1 adult, they need me to be happy & focused on them… not the drama their stepdad & step siblings bring to the table every day!

It dawned on me that apart from the intimate plus points of mine and my Ex's relationship, we only seemed to be together when I had money and he didn't. Then come his payday we'd argue over something and I'd be gone. I felt cheap and used and my insecurities were taken advantage of. No more. 🍒
