I had a traumatic injury to my hip and the glute never recovered. 30 years later and I saw my shadow as I was walking and couldn't believe how I was waddling! In trying to work out why and how to stop, I've discovered I must have damaged the superior gluteal nerve in the accident and had no strength in certain hip/glute muscles at all. I wanted to say thank you, a week of your exercises and there's a noticeable improvement already.

Adding my comment to the one posted by " crazy robot lady" earlier. She is blind and asked that you use more complete descriptions for the exercises that you present. I hope that you do this to allow her and other blind or low-vision listeners to get the full benefit of your videos. Thank you! You fellows are helpful to so many people!

Hey bob so I had a total hip replacement on my right leg then in less than 2 months the hip failed. I had to go thru a intensive hip revision. Approximately a year after I had a femur lengthening to balance my hip and stop me from from limping… but since the first surgery I have realized I still have the trendeleBurg gait… I do inesive therapy with a therapist and also on my own… but really no prevail…. I believe m gluetus muscle was compromise during both hip replacement

Back exercises for sure. Those muscle have to be strong to hold you upright. KZfaq back strengthening exercises for older people, women, no weights, etc. Working my back was definitely a game changer for me and it eliminated any back pain I had.

Can you stand? The first one should be doable even with bad knees. There is another variant where you do the same thing lying on your side if that would work better. It's on one of their other videos. I've been waddling for over a decade I think. I'm double-jointed with bad knees and am currently dealing with a torn meniscus and IT band syndrome on my right knee and the left knee is acting up just due to stress. I've finally put myself on a Bob and Brad regimen which has really helped. I'll be adding the first exercise right now and I'll add the third when I can do it. The other two just are not happening for me.

I’ve walked like this for as long as I can remember. The first time I can remember it being brought to my attention was in 8th grade. My English teacher would call me her “lil penguin”. In June of 2021, I was in a bad wreck caused by my father and I broke my femur, hips, pelvis, and jaw 3x. So now I’m even weaker than ever. Luckily, my limp is gone but I still have the weakness and the “waddle”. I recently started PT again and hopefully they will be able to help me w this concern as well. I didn’t realize the cause or that it’s fixable until now.
