Prashant pandey is no more now with us. He died due to Corona pandemic complications created health issues on him. He was a very enthusiastic watch collecting guy, remained much proud of collecting only hmt watches.

Really helpful! Most of my watches are metal strapped.. Finding it difficult to keep it from not getting scratched.

Yup. I must say, I love hmt Rajat, than my Seiko5 automatic sometimes. Because hmt Rajat is so light weight , you don't even feel it you are wearing on the wrist.

I recently bought a used Janata via Ebay from India, and I guess I got lucky. Mine keeps perfect time, and looked new, not used. Beautiful watches.

I think it was "Vintagewatch4us", however I bought two more HMT watches from same seller and both did not work. So I do not suggest this Ebay seller at all. Be very careful with Ebay.

That's HMT Chirag - red dial. These were made for japanese market.

Senthil vel S weekly rotation is ok as long as you keep wearing them in rotation and get them serviced every few years, your watches will last for a long time.

Pull the crown to time setting position. The watch should stop in this position. You can store them for long then.

bernard mishra HMT watches have suspended it's operations till further notice but one can find unsold stocks with old dealers, watch shops etc.

though I have not dealt with them but people have told me that Kamdar and Kamdar do sell HMT watches. I suggest you to use your discretion while buying.
