I was assisting in a wake one evening and as people were lined up to view the deceased, I saw a person in line that was dressed exactly like the person in the casket. I looked around to see if the person was seated in the chapel and could not locate the person in line. When I looked at the deceased person lying in the casket it was identical to the person I had seen in line waiting to view the deceased. Weird huh?

I was vacuuming the chapel one day and when I was near the decedent I heard a distinct hello. This was heard over the noise of the vacuum. I spun around thinking someone walked in through the front door and no one was there! I’m convinced it was the spirit of the man in the casket 🖤

I think that it is wonderful that you treat every deceased person under your care with respect. I am sure the families would expect nothing less. When my dear mom passed, my sister and i cared for her and prepared her body before the funeral home came. I spoke to my mom the whole time, giving her lots of hugs and kisses before she was taken away. I talked to her when she was being taken away, and later at the visitation. I think she could hear me and why would someone not speak to their loved one? I found it very healing. Thank you for all that you do. xo

Several years ago I attended the funeral of my great uncle. The minister that conducted the service was also a relative. We were all sitting in the chapel listening to the service. My uncle had a nice array of flowers positioned around his casket. The minister was standing behind the pulpit giving the eulogy and one of the flower arrangements fell off the pedestal it was sitting g on. It scared the crap out of everybody. The flower arrangement was a small basket and it was sitting on a pedestal that was completely flat so the arrangers t should not have just randomly fallen off onto the floor like that. It really spooked everyone during the service.

It’s literally her job. Maybe it’s not for you, but she obviously doesn’t mind or she’d not have chosen this profession. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m not sure how one would decide to be a mortician or funeral director (I’m not sure if the terms are equivalent, but I use them that way). I know one often comes into it as a family business. But Not all of us are afraid of the dead. I’ve had enough supernatural experiences that they no longer scare me or spook me. Most spirits mean you no harm. But I guess sometimes they must get lonely if they’re stuck here, and want some interaction with someone. My husband claims we have a ghost in our house that takes things before eventually giving them back. I don’t think so - he’s inclined to lose things and has always been that way! - but we do live on a historic site and still have the original barn from “back in the day,” so who knows?!?!

The most real encounter I had was walking into a room and basically being pushed out. I can't explain it but my mom seen it. I've had others. Though recently she passed and sometimes I swear she is playing with my daughter. Once I had to use the bathroom (if your a parent you understand this lol) and my little one wanted in there but I just wanted some peace, so my daughter is standing outside the door crying screaming I was about to open the door because no peace in hearing your kid cry and then suddenly she stopped. And instead of crying she was laughing giggling like she was being tickled. I think it was her in fact I know it was.

So at my part time job. Every time I walked into one certain area of the facility I would get this weird disturbing feeling that I could not explain. Then a manager was talking to me and I told him how at my full time job I work with mainly dementia patients and end of life care where I do see a lot of deaths. He told me, oh did you ever hear how the security guard died in so and so room.... and I tried not to say anything because he was kind of laughing that “oh people believe there’s a ghost here” and now I always walk into that room as carefully as possible not to disturb the spirit so to speak... and at home my grandmother loved a clock and a rocking chair. Well the clock would chime at a certain time and I forget why that time was so important to her, and the rocking chair will rock on its own too.

Am a tow truck driver, one night I had to pickup a broke down van from the local funeral home. I was not aware there was a body in the back of the van. On my way to the funeral home I played loud music, I smoked, and drank a beer on my tow truck. When I got to the funeral home to drop off the van some old lady came out and told me I should respect for the deceased. As I turn around the lady was out of sight. I came back in the morning to pick up that same van to take it to the mecanic shop and I told the supervisor of that funeral home about that lady, he laughed and told me there were no body working that night and he told me I had a deceased lady in that van I towed. I said ok, he told me sometimes that happen to people who has no respect for the dead.

When my mother passed away we had a Catholic Mass, and during the Mass the church's fire alarm went off. After that was settled and fixed, the hearse alarm went off with no one in the parking lot. The Father of the church said that in his 30 years there, this had never happened.

Was in a metaphysical store once that was in an old house. A cat rubbed up against my leg but I didn’t see it. I asked when had gotten a cat, as I was looking for it. I find this video interesting as I have had many paranormal encounters at the various cemeteries that I have been to...doing funerals in serving my church and in other occasions that had me there. The cemetery, where my late spouse is buried, my sightings there has even unnerved the ground crew that work there when they hear of it. Yes. I do carry on conversations with the decedent when I help to set up a visitation/novena as well as afterwards.

Does anyone believe that the spirit of the diseased is present at the viewing. At some viewing I think I can feel this.
@delilahrainelle7158
@delilahrainelle7158 5 жыл бұрын
Larry Ulery ... No. This is because I believe in scripture which tells us that to be “spiritually absent from the body is to be present with Christ.” ( or not). Now, I also believe that we are surrounded by angels and I do believe that God sends them to comfort us in whatever ways we need. I believe that angels are what we feel in the presence of our loved ones. I also believe that they can and do sometimes manifest as the deceased that we love. When my younger brother was waiting for death, he saw tens of thousands of angels. He and I were so close and I’m still grieving him, but I knew the second his spirit left his body, he was with our Lord. I’m glad that you often feel “them.” The Lord is comforting you in ways that you can identify with. God bless.

It’s very common to see Spirit out of the corner of your eye. They love to do that. For spirit to actually physically manifest it takes an extraordinary amount of energy that’s why you often hear about the temp dropping and that’s bc the spirit is consuming the energy in the area to manifest. But to be honest I think you have a lot more experiences with spirit thank you think bc you’re empathic. But there’s nothing to be scared of with spirit they’re people just like you. Anyway thanks for the video!! ❤️❤️

Thanks for telling us of your experiences...I can completely relate. My paranormal experiences don't have to do with death care per se, but I think they are of interest nonetheless. My experiences have all happened at my house. Once in a while we'll be looking something and the item is not where we last put it (which is ALWAYS where it belongs, because for lack of better words, we're "Anal" about organization.) We will turn the house upside down looking for the lost item searching and searching and it's absolutely NOWHERE to be found. After a while we just give up out of frustration. Then the same day when we give up looking and tell each other that the item is just gone and there's no sense to keep looking the thing appears!! The item doesn't appear where it's supposed to be kept, but rather in a very obvious place where there's no way we can miss seeing it! The latest episode was on Monday, we were looking for a certificate for over two days...then suddenly the minute I had to leave the house empty-handed without the certificate, I walked into the kitchen and there was the certificate, sitting on the sofa pillow!! Just the latest example of our Paranormal housemate!!

Growing up in what I call a "haunted" house, I have encountered many inexplicable things and potential spirits. However, one thing that seems to stick with my family is this: when a relative or close friend dies, all the clocks & watches in the house stop, like they've run out of energy around the time of death. And when my grandpa died, my granny heard a clock ticking very loudly out of nowhere. She said it sounded like it came from behind the closet in their bedroom and it became quieter and quieter till it stopped.

My sister died young. She lived with my Dad in his house. When he was away she'd lock the dead bolt to the front door because she was afraid to be alone in the house. The day of her burial, my Dad had locked the dead bolt to the front door before leaving. When we got back to the house, his key wouldn't turn the bolt. I tried; then he tried again. We were getting nervous. I then called out my sister's name and said, "Please unlock the door.' Next try, the bolt unlocked. Never happened again. (Dad's gone now too. Miss him with all my heart everyday. But I'm pretty sure there's more to this life.)

I was an RN for 40 years. I have had experiences from the start. I believe ghosts/spirits follow us. May sound crazy but I swear this happened. I had come home to an empty house & was exhausted after a 12 hour shift. There were deaths on my floor but not my unit. Im a L&D nurse. & we shared the floor with ICUs I got in the elevator with the nurses who worked in an ICU & they were creeped out for a reason from all the deaths that day. In nursing things come in waves.. I joked I hope they don't follow u guys home. When got home to an empty house I was reading my mail dishes went flying out of one of my cabinets. The whole set was broken. I remember the pattern on the dishes. LOL Desert Rose Franciscan. I assumed the shelf broke but it didn't. I felt creeped out for a few days. I swear this happened.

I went on a removal one night and went back out to the van and the battery was dead. No reason, it just was dead. So a nurse jumped me off. I get back and was embalming and the power flickered during the embalming (like 2am). Then 2 days at the visitation (no other power problems between then and now) the power goes out and stays out for the most part of the visitation. Came back on right before we left to go for graveside service. So I call my associate to tell him about the power outage because he was with me during removal and embalming and while I'm telling him about it, my phone completely powers off and powers right back on. 4 power issues, 4 different places, 1 decedent. It was very strange!!

Well, hmm. I can think of one incident at a funeral home at the calling hours of my godmother. There was a gathering and at one point it felt like someone touched me. I thought this was odd because no one had touched me so I looked at Margaret and I said in my mind, “Do it again.” And sure enough it did. Three times in all. I’ve never told anyone this story partly because it could have been some nervous twitch; but I’ve had that experience before around human remains the first time in Greece at a monastery in 1988. For 12 years I had worked 2 mi from home, and each day on the way to work and coming back from work..... I would ride my bicycle through the local cemetery. As I rode through I would recite the Prayer of Saint Gertrude as many times as I could before exiting (to help the souls in purgatory enter heaven). One very cold winter night there was no moon, and for some reason -- as I was approaching the entrance to the cemetery -- I became very afraid. I stopped just before the entrance and I started to reason with myself, "John, what are you afraid of? It's not like there are any ghosts in there that are going to jump out and attack you! The most you're going to find are lonely souls waiting to go to heaven." Somehow I stealed myself up and started riding into the cemetery. But when I got 50 ft in I had to stop. The temperature was 15° f (bitter cold), but all of a sudden I felt warm and toasty. I stood there straddling my bicycle..... And I felt people hugging me..... Dozens of people hugging me. I was toasty warm with all this hugging going on......(but there was no one there!). I think I stayed there for about 2 or 3 minutes..... In shock, really..... Just experiencing this amazing "happening". Finally I just shook my head and said, "come on, come to your senses..... You have to get home" So, I got back on my bicycle seat and started pedaling home. I came to understand that, what I had said to myself before I entered that cemetery (or maybe was 'given to understand').... came true. And you know the most amazing thing that also happened? The exact spot where I stopped and this incident took place...... Is right in front of my Nana's grave site. What's so amazing about that? There was no tombstone or grave marker. I had no idea where she was buried until years later when a gravestone was finally put there. That's something, huh? I rode through that cemetery hundreds of time since, but I never had a repeat of that experience. I think the holy souls waiting to go to heaven we're just saying "Thank you!", And God allowed me a 'signal Grace' to be able to experience it. I got the message, and to this day I try to carry out my task (praying the Prayer of Saint Gertrude as I ride through) whenever I'm near that cemetery. And when I'm out for a Sunday drive, I often stop and pray in cemeteries I come across along the way...... And I've had other experiences, just as strange as this one. But those are sharings for another time.

There’s an angry spirit in my grandmas house (or I think it’s angry) it likes to poke you and it’s so weird. One night my grandma felt something brush her hand in her sleep and she woke up to a voice saying who are you, why are you here and things like that. Another night I was sleeping over in a different room and I kept hearing the floor creak like as if someone was walking on it, I look in the area where I hear footsteps and it stops, if I look away it continues, I’m like creeped out at this point but I’m still trying to sleep and I felt like this strong jab in my spine... my grandma and I believe each other but no one else believes us....

I posted this on athother channel, but aye, when my Mum passed I was at the funeral home on a duo call with my brother discussing hair, makeup, etc & it was just myself & the hairdresser, as the funeral director had left to pick up his kids. Now she was to do Mum's hair, as I just couldn't knowing what I had to do to perform the task to my Mum., anyway we could hear faint, soft laughter & a few words, during & after the call & I must say the hairdresser was most figidty, I just smiled & tried to carry a normal conversation. When the funeral director arrived back, she stuck to him like glue, begging him almost to tell her that he had been talking to his kids or another worker. Needless to say he gave a very bewildered, "no, it's just the 3 of us today". She dismissed herself and left. Next day we were attempting makeup, & even at 5' 10" & being taller than everyone else, the lady gave me a brush & asked me to apply lip colour. We all were pretty casual & I am a bit of a jokster, as was my Mum, so here I am almost having to lay across my Mum to reach & can't get it right, & rather laughing at myself for not being able to perform this task, I hand the brush to the director, saying "Here you do it" & all of us kept hearing that soft, faint laughter off & on throughout this proccess, with the director & myself already laughing at ourselves...No not direspectful or anything of the sort, tho through the course of it I did say, "Sure bet Mum is laughing at me now attempting to do makeup" . --In so many ways, it felt like a good thing, a comfort if you will, like, perhaps our loved ones do come to visit us. Long story short, I am now studying to be a funeral assistant under this director & we still share a laugh over that day, however sadly tho, the hairdresser quit the job. Paranormal? Perhaps, but I will never believe the "Paranormal" has to be something scary or evil like so many wish to label it

My uncle works for a funeral home. My aunt, his sister passed away soon to be five years ago. When another person who works there tried to open the door to put my aunt into the hearse, the door wouldn’t open. When my uncle tried it opened right up. We thought my aunt wanted her brother to open the door.😇

I was with my mother when she died. She had been in a comatose state for at least a week if not longer. During that time she didn't move or flinch. She was completely still. I knew death was imminent but when she died, I screamed. I was beside myself in grief. I had sat up with her all through the night talking to her even though there was no response. When my father and sister came downstairs about 7 am the next morning, I decided to walk into the kitchen to get something to drink. Almost immediately I heard my distressed sister say "Mom's gone". I flew down the stairs and could see it was true. My father sister and I were all in agreement. That's when I lost it and let out a scream saying, "I only left her for a moment." Then the inexplicable happened. It's as if my scream woke my mother from the dead. Suddenly my mother who hadn't moved in probably 10 days raised her left arm up high into the air. Suddenly, I was beside myself with irrational euphoria for a split second or two. I remember saying, "She's not dead, mom's not dead." I took her arm that was pointing toward the sky in my hands and gently eased it back down to her side and she was gone. I considered it to be my mother's gift to me in the end. The question is was my mother not really dead when the three of us deemed that she was? To me there was no doubt, she was dead. We all came to that conclusion. She stopped breathing and her heart stopped beating. Did my scream cause her to come back to life with the last ounce of life she may have had left? I don't think so. It was as if she was reaching up to the heavens. Why? Did she see her mother? Some heavenly being? An angel? Did she see the white light that people say happens when there is a near death experience? (Which I have always been a skeptic of) I guess I will never know until I see her on the other side. I'd like to also mention a friend of mine, his story too. He's an empiricist. For him seeing is believing. He has a very scientific mind. He's an inventor and a United States patent holder. He would be an atheist today had it not been for an experience he had a few years ago. An elderly lady who lived next door to his mother in the apartment adjoining hers died. The woman's daughter gave my friend's mother a couple of her mother's possessions. (I'm surprised my friend's mother took them because had an aversion to anything that was second-hand) So anyway, she was given a mirror and a chair. Immediately upon receipt of these items my friend started to hear blood-curdling hooting, ghost-like sounds in the hallway adjacent to the two apartments. This happened in Coop-City in the Bronx. So my friend walked into the bathroom of his mother's apartment after hearing those sounds and the light fixture, the glass enclosure, flew off the fixture at a high rate of speed. It shot straight out, fell and then bounced off his mother's hamper and he caught it in his hands. Stunned he went to place the glass enclosure back on the fixture and he couldn't do it because the screws that held it in place were still screwed in tightly to the fixture itself. He said what happened to him completely brakes the Laws of Physics. Since that experience he was forced to concede that there is something beyond this world in the spirit realm, and he can no longer call himself an atheist. (He's convinced it was the ghost of the woman who caused the glass enclosure to fly off the wall) Personally, I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in the spirit realm. So now you have two different stories from two different perspectives.

I have experienced seeing something or someone out of the corner of my eye, many many times.I have also lived in a home, where I would here constant footsteps throughout the house at night, and sometimes wake up to a man standing at the foot of my bed. I was terrified, so I know it wasn’t a good presence. I have awoken more than once in the past year, of a demon in my room. I asked a pastor friend of mine, and he believes all these are demonic entities, as evil spirits masquerade as familiar spirits (I don’t know the exact scripture that says that), which can leave some to believe they are communicating with their loved ones. I don’t know, but either way, I know I have God’s protection. I know that paranormal things do happen, because I have experienced them. Their origin is what I wonder about.

It really freaked me out because I just saw him in his casket. I ran out to the kitchen where everyone else was and they said I was pale white. I never went back in that room. I enjoyed hearing your stories. Thank you. (BTW, you look so pretty in this video.)

When my mom passed, 'the day after she was taken away by the funeral people.' I was in her house taking every last nick/nanke I wanted and loaded my truck 3 different times! The room my mother passed in the door kept on flying open! It did it like 3 times so I closed the door put some hangers in place to keep the door from opening back up and I was able to carry on! The day before she passed she was reaching out, trying to swing herself leg 1st out of the bed and I'm like as I recording, 'shit? Who is in here? Make a fucken picture float across the room or something? Those video's I took while sitting at the edge of my mom's bed will keep me sane for the rest of my life! My mom's other spawn made the whole thing, 'a horror not to be believed, 'along with not including a picture of myself on my moms obituary,' and upon coming to the church my seeing the obituary! When the time came for the 2-Minute Remark? I went to the stage, waving my hand's to the lady running the program and I walked up on stage, 'got the mike and told the whole church who I was and thanked them for coming to honor my dear mother and again! I told the church who I was! Then after took my seat, 'family stunned,' to say the least! After word's went to the burial, made a video for my oldest nephew as I hugged her casket, then after got into my truck! When too dinner then home! The class I showed, 'made my mother/fathers spawn,' looked like the ass holes they are! Sometimes death will end chapters in one life and/or being new ones! For me, 'New Ones.'

Hello Little Miss Funeral thank you for sharing your experiences. I am working in Funeral Service and when I was working at a funeral home last year I would always see a man in a suit sitting in a chair in the chapel room that they had. At first I thought it was one of the other funeral directors but the man did not look like any of people I was working with. Also there was one time when I saw this man and all of the funeral directors and staff were upstairs having coffee and not on the main floor. It would only be for a few seconds or so and when I looked again the chair would be empty. I never told anyone but I think it was the ghost of the previous funeral home owner who had died about 10 years before based on the suit he was wearing (the same uniform colour). I also worked previously at a cemetery and I was convinced that there was some paranormal activity happening not on the cemetery grounds so much but in the admin office. I would sometimes hear footsteps and the voices and laughter of two women (sometimes when there wasn't anyone in the office but me) and for a while a ghost seemed to be haunting this small closet area downstairs and he would play with the water heater and make it beep (even when it was unplugged). The water heater would not beep if we kept the light on in the closest.

I ask the same thing.that is nice for you telling us.i already know but I just wanted to hear it from you.and thanks for not responding to me. But if you have any questions why just ask me I am a expert. And that person sitting in the chaple is someone wanting to go to heaven but they are afraid to go to the light so they are still praying.and that is good you are talking to them wile you are working on there body because they are standing right there watching you from the other dimension. And it will always shock me when people that do work with the dead are clueless about life after death or the spirit world. Our bodies die.our souls never do.they go on the next journey. Some say heaven or hell.and they are 100 percent right. But it is a nother dimension. And if you are really doing a good job on a body you will hear someone say thanks. God gave me a gift. You must be still really young. But you will understand as you get older. And good luck.and I just seen this is 3 years old.i must check that before I start talking. Now I feel silly.but I hope you read this.

We moved into my mother and father in laws house a month after my father in law died in that house, the first day I was alone in the house I was upstairs getting cleaning supplies from the kitchen closet, and I felt like someone was behind me, the second I had that feeling I heard my father in laws voice clear as day say in his boisterous way "hey", but the weirdest part was that I could feel the warmth of his breath on the back of my neck! I know it was him! I think he was trying to say like, hey what's up you guys live here now? I will never forget that experience!
