We have pretzel jello every Thanksgiving. It wouldn't be a celebration without it. This past Thanksgiving , as we hurried to put dinner on the table , I forgot to grab the jello from the frig. Suddenly, my grandkids squeeled, " MomMom, where's the pretzel jello" 😊

One of my all time favorites. They call this a Pretzel Salad but we eat it as a Dessert. It’s That Good!!! I’ve even made a Sugar Free version for my diabetic family members. Both are delicious 💕

Hi Catherine, I had this as a teenager in the mid 70s. Yes I am oldISH now but still 29 in head and heart. This is an awesome addictive thing as I remember. I have had it twice probably since. Giving me an idea of having a few neighbors over Sunday night for dessert outside. TY TY for good memory

My aunt used to make this dessert in the spring for potlucks and other events. However, she used raspberry jello instead of strawberry jello. Other than that, she used the same ingredients in your recipe. Oh the nostalgia!

I mix a small can of pineapple juice into the cream cheese. I don’t add sugar. It’s delicious.

The great thing about desserts like this is that you can make it the day before your gathering. The day of can be a little crazy so having the dessert ready is helpful.

Great idea about the 2 packs of cream cheese layer - I've had the jello mixture seep into the pretzel crust before - this is one of my husband's and my favorite desserts!

I have made this so many times for big family gatherings. It vanishes so fast. Make more than you think you will need, because people will be begging for second helpings. I use "real" whip cream instead of "cool whip" topping. I've done it both ways, and trust me... real whip cream is the best. Thank you for reminding me of this great recipe. P.S. I've also used frozen raspberries, thawed. Just as delicious.

Another winner! 🏆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽My family loved this one! ❤️❤️❤️I did a mango one since I had a Hawaiian local plate lunch thing going on at my house🌺🌴It’s 2 cans 15-oz diced mango (drain well) for the fruit. For the topping, I used 1 box 3-oz lemon jello & 1 envelope unflavored gelatin instead of the 1 box 6-oz jello. Can’t wait to try the other fruit/jello combos I saw through comments too. The secret to the best Strawberry Pretzel Salad is to replace the room temp water in the Jell-O with Pineapple Juice. The flavor is Amazing.

A wonderful desert! I had this recipe yrs.ago, but it got ruined when a new floor went down in the kitchen. My recipe books were put in a tub outside. It poured down rain in them. I did not know they were put out. My son put them outside. I am thrilled to have this recipe back. The only difference is I put vanilla wafer crust. The pretzel will be so much better. Thank you.
