If your foot is landing underneath the hip at the time of striking the ground obviously in the running form or sprint then we have great foot contact
if you do overstriding you may be at higher risk of injury and because of over striding breaking force exert which is slowing you down
if you are under striding
Then you don't enough range motion
Because of this u just striking a ground before getting into high knee position which is bad mechanic for sprinting
