It depends on where you go and if you order a service, like a private room or something (I haven't been to one, but have heard from friends that work in the industry). So it may be a matter of researching your local clubs and sex workers in general for what their work does or does not include. See, what's interesting is there's an extrovert/introvert thing going on in this thread, but for the most part, I think I would consider myself an introvert: I prefer to be alone generally, and I can't hang out with another person too long without having to find privacy and recharge. For the most part, I would rather drink coffee than alcohol and stay inside watching anime than go out. Yet when I went out for the first time, I had a great time, and I really think it was due to having the right people to take me. They were laid back and supportive, they knew the right place to go to for free entry and two for one drinks (Which makes a pina colada as much as one of my coffees), and since we were all together, collectively we kept the no good chancers at bay. I wouldn't do it every night, but loosened up by alcohol, surrounded by good people and responding more to the heavy bass through your body than the actual sound of the music can make it a good time. It's all about your friends- I've been with people who stand sucking on drinks all night, and merely stare at you if you want to dance and it becomes so awkward and uncomfortable (And expensive) that it makes me never want to go again. But that all said, if you don't think you like it, don't let anyone pressure you into going; it's a niche atmosphere, and it can be hard to relax in for some people.

Instead of the usual sort of night out where you try to present the best version of yourself to a stranger you don't know to get somewhere sexually, you can instead, using a lot of money, indulge a more base desire of just ogling sexualised women in a sexualised environment. It's not for everyone and not for me, but I'm glad I went and have that experience in my life.

PotaTOES Not a problem. I felt the same as you for ages, so just thought I'd share my experience. But to be honest, I've no idea either. I'm from Ireland and here you can drink at the strip club, which sort of just follows the idea of going all out on a big night out. Go out drinking, get wildly drunk, or even to have a buzz and hit as many different places as you can I guess? Plus it's a more legal and fun way to get some sort of sexual experience while partying. I can only assume Prostitution is more expensive but has so many laws and illegal dealing around it. Strip clubs fit the social aspect of a night and are legal. A group of people would rather buy a dance than sex.

My understanding is that strippers don't usually give you sex, unless they're REALLY interested in you, and if they do, it probably won't be at the strip club, it'll be after they're done their shift. If you do end up getting lucky, I highly doubt they'd charge you.
