The ref ruined it when she forced him to take the shot while people were still coming in. She insisted it was closed but still people strolled in, then unsettled him with a sarcastic comment about being there for 20mins. If you want him to take the shot, put more effort in making sure the door is closed. That was the moment Ronnie's demeanour changed, and Bingham knew it and took advantage of it.

Whether or not those complaints were valid or not, once you start airing them and having hissy fits, instead of playing, it's self destructive, I daresay.

You can see and tell why most the players think the crucible is over rated and depresses them to play there. A lot of players play worse at the crucible because I think they feel it’s just a deflated venue. They seem to love the lesser attentive tournament venues because they probably put more effort to keep up there towards the top. Mark Selby is looking at retiring, Judd is having a bit of a fed up. Ronnie you can see is deflated and doesn’t enjoy the crucible. I feel like that’s why you don’t necessarily see some of the top players through. Judd played terrible against Tom Ford and Ronnie against Stuart. Don’t be surprise for a continued downward spiral. And Barry Turd is a complete and utter useless chairman of snooker. He is such a narcissist and power trip greedy man! He is ruining it because he cares more about money then he does about the sport or the players! Needs to go in the bin BIG TIME!
