Everyone should educate themselves but some people don’t even know they should and about what! Like here in Poland, so many people don’t understand racism issues because we have almost no black people anywhere (statistically and realistically)!

I’ve never gotten the fact that people gatekeep BOOKS! Now, I’m one of those people who read around 200-300 books a year, and when a book I’ve LOVED gets popular I get so excited cause the story and the author are good. If I love something so much, of course I wanna see it succeed, and most of the time, popularity is success, so why gatekeep something?

It’s the people whose great great grandparents were biracial who say their Afro-Latino. Wavy hair with a light tan, visibly not an unambiguous black person, and saying that they’re Afro-Latino. I’m black and I might as well start saying that I’m Euro-Latino cause I’m Caribbean and have a white great grandparent.

The only movie I think was for me was Whitney Houston & Disney's "Cinderella" from 1997, where we had a Filipino prince and interracial couples and families represented. That was the first and last time Disney or anyone else I've seen do anything like this. I've mostly seen them cast Filipinos as anything other than Filipino and couples/families that are all of the same race. What happened to the "Great American Melting Pot" I heard about in school growing up? Can't just be my family, right? Where are people like us? I guess we got lucky I grew up when I did because going out to the parks with my black grandpa nowadays would get us Karen'ed.
