+Catnip and Collin Yeah this "country" they play on the radio is awful,its all pop bullcrap,the other day i heard some song where he started rapping in the middle of the song. I thought id give country a try again on the radio,it was a mistake.
He's the only artist I could see myself following for several dates or even the whole tour. This guy is changing the game and he's brilliant as fuck
@gregriepenhoff45077 жыл бұрын
Saw him last night in Cleveland and I agree. I would take a sabbatical from work and just follow him around the country for 6 months.

Probably some of the best licks I've ever heard, and this guy's just playing around. Hairs are still standing on my arm. What the hell do they listen to in Estonia?

Some damn good country music, apparently.

Wayne Miller A little Neil Young and a little George Jones A little Merle Haggard and a little bit of the Stones And a little Cash and a whole lotta Waylon..

He's listened to more than them cause none of the above can play anything like that
@tonusoots77309 жыл бұрын
Wayne Miller Yes, obviously. I was just referencing a song by Shooter Jennings in which he heralds the return of "real country music". Laur comes from a family of musicians and back here he's played in blues and rock'n'roll bands. We're following his talent and progression across the pond. I'm as amazed as you are :).

Tõnu Soots I love the Stones take on country music. Mick's southern singing is hilarious on Far Away Eyes, for example.

Sturgill's guitar player looks Outlaw Country as hell. He has the likeness of an early Johnny Paycheck. I seriously wish I could have that look & actually pull it off.
