If you ever come to Thailand for a holiday I'd like to hire you to respray my WRX's bumper and one door. Just about given up on trying to get a match that I'm satisfied with after far too many tries.

Nice basecoat work. I use db500 I struggle with mottling when I try to go too wet.

dekorokone Thanks man. I find the exact opposite. Unless I'm using a pretty slow reducer I have to go pretty wet other wise I end up with sand piling and mottle. Some colours are just a pain no matter what though lol

dekorokone I don't think we have a very slow here. We have slow 1-161 but never knew very slow was a thing. Suppose we don't have enugh stinking hot days to warrant it

Watched to the end hoping to see how well it matched the rest of the car... Bit of an anticlimax as we didn't get to see the end result.

I agree. Unfortunately the car got put together and out the door before I could even get a chance to get a photo let alone a video. But will definitely keep it in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching 😊

Hey, The transparent blue coat is per the formula but from memory it is just a transparent binder with a very small amount of the blue tinter giving the translucent tint effect and gives the blue a bit more depth

Hey mate. There isn’t really a code for just the transparent layer. It’s basically just a transparent binder with a straight blue pigment making it into a tinting blue
