Sunny was the first WWE Diva, but in the years since Sunny (aka Tammy Sytch) left WWE, then WWF in 1998, her life has been in a downward spiral. Sunny cheated on her teenage lover and wrestler Chris Candido and then got involved with substance abuse. In this wrestling documentary we will look at how Sunny went from the first Diva of WWE to disgrace, today awaiting trial for a crime that could see Tamara Lynn Sytch sentenced to 20 plus years behind bars.

I definitely feel bad for Chris Candido. Simply because he seem to still be very in love with Sunny and seem like that's the reason why he didn't confront her. Doesn't make it better for himself but there is a reason why there is the saying "Love makes people blind".

@@EllaJayActually the reason there are two programs (NA vs AA) doesn’t have anything at all to do with that. The split occurred during the drug wars. People in AA were worried that anonymity would be lost due to federal agent surveillance of the meetings. So they had ‘addicts’ start NA. As someone who is in recovery, I guarantee alcohol is a drug. In fact the guys coming in for booze look WAY worse than most of the drug addicts.

Sable was just better at being the sex symbol than Sunny was, her looks were also more inline with the Attitude Era. Whereas Sunny was at her peak, more of a bitchy valley girl, like something out of Saved by the Bell. Sable with her teased up hair, heavy makeup and black leather outfits fit in more with the aesthetic of the late 90s. Even without all the drama backstage I don't think Sunny would have lasted much longer once Sable came around.

I don’t know. Sunny was a huge presence and had better mic skills. Plus, IMO, she was better looking. Sable looked like the playboy model that wouldn’t pay attention to you while Sunny looked like the girl who lives down the street that was smoking hot.

It’s sad that she destroyed the amazing opportunities she was given. It also irks me that WWF/WWE rarely had a brunette beauty as one of their big stars. Sherri was pretty, but her hair and makeup made her look older and it wasn’t flattering to her.

Sunny has always been extremely jealous and hateful towards Sable. This is a prime example why you should always be kind and humble to others. I’m glad Sable never fell to Sunny’s level and responded to any of the horrible things she has said. Sable is a true legend, happy and living her best life while sunny is a absolute train wreck. Karma is real folks.

Why would Sunny be jealous? She was way more over (being the most downloaded woman at one point) and even though she turned into a horrible person, back then she was everything Sable wasn't: Good looking, had charisma, knew how to work a crowd, was into wrestling and could cut promos. Sable on the other hand is your typical american airhead bimbo, who thinks 2+2=5 and couldn't cut a promo to save her life.

Just bc Sable didn’t fall into addiction, doesn’t mean she wasn’t a trash person lol She tried suing WWE, then went crawling back when the case was thrown out & she realized she’d never make it in Hollywood. Then, when she was on the road, she cheated on her husband, while he was home watching her daughter, so she could live her “dream”. Tammy may be a horrible person, but she was way more entertaining than Sable when it came to the wrestling world.

I can't even imagine how bad of a drug addict you have to be in order to get fired from ECW in the 90s specifically for abusing drugs! That locker room had a coked up New Jack slicing people up in the ring, and he never got fired. So she must've been really REALLY bad in order to get booted from that crackhead promotion.

Being old I remember Sunny in her original hey day, she was a one of a kind. Always felt bad for her but it got to a point she didn't deserve sympathy, sadly she deserves jail. Hard for people to have a taste of fame and lose it, she could have been a beloved fan favourite for years to this day and not a train wreck warning of what not to do.
