What a video of this legend. Various clips of Roy crunching tackles and getting in people faces, mixed with him explaining how he has a feud with some refs and they should just let the game go, mixed with a completely random clip of him playing with his dog lol. And ends with the Haaland challenge where he looks like Collin Farrell. What a player and a Man U legend. Unfortunate how he was sneakily kicked out of the club by Fergie, who was a non compromising man himself. But he was onto some bullshit there, criticizing Roy for not being able to run anymore or sth, probably like a few months after he ate the pitch in one game vs UCL winning Liveroool and ate Gerrard alive.

@@shaundstone I'm a bit advanced in years now and started watching football in the late sixties its a different game now played on bowling green pitches where tackling is virtually illegal. It would be interesting to put a modern referee in front of a film of a game from that period and see how long it is before the game was abandoned due to lack of players. All joking apart Keanes tackle was a disgrace, he was probably one of the last of the breed of hard men that every team had, some had more than one. The Leeds team of Don Revie always sticks in my mind, to a man they were dirty horrible bastards but they were successful.
@shaundstone3 жыл бұрын
@@RayWint-od9uj Morning mate, I was born in 1970, and I too remember that football was a lot different to what it is now, even when I started watching it, even yellow cards were a fairly rare occurrence, and I was watching the games yesterday and, I agree, if a player slightly mistimes a tackle but with zero malicious intent, they are then booked, it's ridiculous! That said, the entire Arsenal team should have been booked yesterday, because of how shite we were!! I know that Keane's hit on Haland was in response to Haland taking the piss out of Keane, two years before when he was laying in agony with a potentially career threatening injury. So it was totally premeditated on Roy Keane's part, but that said;if there's one person whose 'manhood' you don't want to question when he's down injured, it's Roy Keane! But as I'm sure you know, that tackle ended Haland's career, and that, as you say IS a disgrace. And I speak as an Arsenal fan who loves Roy Keane. He is justifiably described as 'fierce' but in my opinion the fiercest aspect to Roy Keane, is his intelligence. A very bright man and 'unique' in football I would say. Interesting that you mention Revie's Leeds team, and I know that they were basically assassins on a football pitch. Am I right in thinking that Brian Clough went in as Revie's successor and was then sacked after a couple of months? Have a nice day Ray, cheers.👍
