I believe it's highly likely within 5 to 10 years, trucking (especially OTR) will become just like meat processing. The wagess and rates will be incrementally lowered until employers will not be able to be competitive without hiring foreign born workers. It starts out with greedy employers saying no Americans want the job, but eventually becomes true because wages are so low and expectations are so high. I wish I had saved more money.

The man is obviously an entrepreneur trying to get his cdl training company off the ground and this is just another example of "the Man" trying to hold him back. This is why trucking will never get better, we can't stick together and even support each other! Maybe you should start a go fund me to help the man get his training company back up and going after what will be a minor setback?😂 Now on a more serious note, how much would you want to bet within 6 months he's out in another ego truck again?

I talked to a Super Ego driver a couple of years ago. He said that when he ran out b of hours, someone from the office would say "give me a few minutes", and available hours would magically appear 30 minutes later. I would never work for someone that monkeys with MY logs...not theirs, MINE.
