Across many different platformers there are many different level themes. We all know the usual's like the opening grass level to ease the players in, or how about the unfortunately seemingly necessary water levels. Lava, Snow, Sand? Yea there's a lot to choose from, but one of my personal favorites is the horror/spooky level theme. It's a nice shift in atmosphere compared to the rest of the usually bright and cherry game. While I haven't played every horror platformer level in the world, one that sticks out to me the most is Big Boo's Haunt from Super Mario 64, so let's talk about it, and by let's I mean me.
