Super Meat Boy - Minecraft's Steve Segmented Speedrun in

4 жыл бұрынIt is a segmented speedrun of the game, which means, i played the individual levels as fast as possible and cut my best times together with video editing.
this allows me to disregard consistency, and go for the craziest and most difficult routes that i could find.
The bosses and The End chapter are character locked to meat boy, so they are skipped in this run, which is normal procedure.
My first ideas and attempts for this project date all the way back to 2017.
I finally found the motivation and determination to pull through, and i'm happy i did.

@@agreyplaugedr8747 Placing blocks in midair, jumping off of said placed blocks to avoid traps, pits, and to gain height rapidly, breaking unbreakables, skipping traps intended for gameplay and challenge by breaking unbreakables, and placing blocks directly in the way of lasers or other hazards like projectile saw blades. And another illegality. Wall-clipping, but that happened to much lesser degree than the others.

@@stpidstuff Standard collision still applies to every other block in Minecraft when you suffocate in a block, so you can’t noclip to the degree shown in the video.

Xilpes ok so he isn’t no clipping basically as you can see he can remove the tile next to him so long as it has collision but since super meat boy wasn’t built for this more complex structures don’t disappear the one tile space is still being removed you just can’t see it

@@VALEn781you can’t really speedrun geometry dash. Sure you can beat all main levels or get a certain amount of achievements for a speedrun, but it’s mostly just at a set speed unless you mess up. When platformer mode comes out speedrunning geometry dash will definitely become a more serious thing.

Yeah, he's OP, but I don't think levels count as "cleared" if you beat it the first time with Steve. might've just been a glitch that happened for me, but if it wasn't, he's not even able to beat a level technically.

no worries! steve is a normal character in the PC /steam release of the game. you get him after collecting 100 bandages
