In this video, I will be sharing how to make really moist and rich flavor almond pound cake.
When I make a pound cake, the thing I care about the most is texture.
My pound cake always has to be moist, but it has to be rich in taste as well.
As soon as you cut the cake, you can feel how moist and soft it is.

Almond pound cake
Pound pan 22 x 8 x 7 in high (cm)
Unsalted butter 200g (¾ cup + 2 Tbsp)
Sugar(granulated) 180g (¾ cup + 1 Tbsp)
Eggs 4
All purpose flour 160g (1 cup)
Almond flour 120g (1 cup)
Baking powder 1/2 Tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Plain yogurt 120g (1/2 cup)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Tbsp
Cooking oil 70g (¼ cup + 1 Tbsp)
Sliced almonds for topping 20g (4 Tbsp)
Please prepare ✓
* Leave butter, eggs and plain yogurt at room temperature for at least 1 hour to get rid of the cold.
* Grease the pan and line with parchment paper, for easy removal.
* Preheat the oven to 180℃ (356℉).
1. Put butter in a clean bowl and loosen gently. Add sugar and eggs in order and mix gently.
2. Sift all the dry ingredients (flour, almond flour, baking powder, salt) and mix. Make sure not to mix too much at this point.
3. Add all remaining ingredients in order and mix.
4. Pour all the batter into the prepared pan. Place the sliced almonds evenly on the top.
5. Bake in an oven preheated to 180℃ (356℉) for 40-45 minutes.
6. Turn the cake out onto a wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
