To put it Simple Sonic using the Power of Cyber Space which holds the power of the Ancients and The Ancients Enemy who’s trapped There (The End). the Phantom Ruby energy has a connection with The End and it’s energy has Corrupted Cyber Space.

Ok so you know how there are two sides to cyber energy(good and bad). WHAT IF THE GOOD/BLUE ENERGY COMES FROM THE CHAOS EMERALDS AND THE BAD/RED ENERGY COMES FROM THE PHANTOM RUBY think about it… The ancient civilization used the chaos emeralds for good but the phantom ruby corrupted cyber space

@@user-sh5bj3il2y Personally I do not think this is the case. The phantom ruby has no real influence in sonic frontiers. In sonic mania, the phantom ruby just randomly showed up on angel island due to a dimensional breach. During the fight in egg reverie zone, it is shown to be as some sort of counter to the chaos emeralds because it can bypass the invulnerability of a super state granted by the chaos emeralds. It can even go so far as to affect the abilities of the master emerald, which is why angel island fell back into the water. However in sonic frontiers we see no sign of the phantom ruby. If the end was the creator of the phantom ruby, it would have defeated the titans in an instant since they were not empowered by all seven chaos emeralds and even if they were, it still would be nearly impossible. It could’ve even defeated super sonic while it had control of the supreme titan. Plus, in the true final battle, the end said the ancients bent time and space to contain it, and the chaos emeralds are said to have that ability. Meaning if the end had similar powers to the phantom ruby, it wouldn’t need sonic to break it out of its prison because it was made out of cyberspace, which was most likely created using the power of the chaos emeralds since the power of the phantom ruby could override the chaos emeralds power. Forces has shown that the phantom ruby could make infinite copies of eggmans army but in frontiers the end possesses no such ability, something that should be at its disposal if it truly was the creator of the phantom ruby. And with the sudden appearance of the visions of the ancients past, when sonic and any of his friends experienced the vision of that respective island, yes it does appear red and yes it does look like another reality suddenly appeared, but the sound affects of the phantom ruby cannot be heard, and the environment does not act like the game is glitching. And the final thing is, the phantom ruby actually returned to classic sonics dimension. During sonic mania plus we actually get to see that the phantom ruby returns to his dimension and restart the adventure from sonic mania. At the end of sonic mania plus, the last we see of the phantom ruby is when it went on a rampage and started sucking in everything around it. It’s unknown what happened to it afterwards. Furthermore, the phantom ruby was never shown to be with the ancients at all so they couldn’t have been able to use the phantom ruby to power anything. Im not saying this is a bad theory because I had the same theory as well. But the more I looked into it, the more I realized that the phantom ruby coming from the end didn’t quite make sense. The end described itself as a living void that has “consumed countless worlds, countless lives.” The phantom ruby on the other hand distorts and alters the reality that its in as well as create phantom copies that the user generates. If you asked me about the cyber corruption, I believe it was actually the end who caused this corruption towards sonic. In a cutscene from the ancients, the ancient who piloted the supreme titan bound the end to its titan and was corrupted, which is what allowed the end to control the supreme titan.

Consider this, Sonic’s eyes used to be Green during Super. Which are his base form eyes as time went on his super sonic eyes became red. Red signifying corruption could indicate an out of control chaos energy in sonic. What if this is a tamed chaos? With blue in cyberspace signifying the memories of the ancients and positivity. Has sonic purified the form? Is this his Mastered Super Sonic form? Perhaps a state sonic can now achieve when he tames the inner chaos of Super Sonic? Just an interesting thought, I’m super hyped though 😁💚💙

1:40 now pause for a minute. The Master emerald was already on the planet before the ancients even knew about it, let alone made it. During Rheas story, you see the ancients ships suddenly change course to our planet and the scene shows the master emerald already on there. So its likely not from the ancients.

According to Ian Flynn, he pitched an idea of Hyper Sonic returning to the Mythos. Involving Sonic pleading for all of Cyberspace to give him all of its lingering energy (the will of the Ancients & Kocos) thus boasting the Super State to becoming Hyper Sonic in order to take on the big bad. This clearly didn’t happen.😕

i feel like i would call it phantom super sonic since the phantom ruby in theoretically is in possesion of sonic's power. like how you said in sonic mania how the phantom ruby takes you to a place in your memories. and i think the cyberspaces have the phantom energy since it takes you to chemical hill or anything from sonic's memories and by the more he gets corrupted by the cyberspace levels the more he gains accesibility to his phantom super sonic which is powered by the phantom ruby. Now right at the part where you said the cyber energy being used the good and bad i think can sometimes lead to moments where sonic snaps and goes insane maniac on the new boss. IF we have a cutscene for the new boss then i feel like it would end by all of his friends being stunned down to their last breath but sonic snaps and goes absolute maniac.Ther cyber energy in his possesion makes him sometimes probably snap and go maniac or just sometimes go really happy HERES HOW I THINK YOU DEFEAT THE BOSS: Each attack takes away 25 rings but if you parry it you get 25+ rings.. if parried enough by sonic gets destroyed and has to parry/hit the boss' arms for sometime the boss will unleash 5 cyber energy balls and can be parried which are burning skulls with huge eyes on them. BY these burning skulls with huge eyes on them im theoretically saying that the burning skulls are the old alien race you were talking about. The dead skulls of the old alien race

The master emerald is from earth it is only the chaos emeralds that are from space.

Although it's true we see the chaos emeralds being used in space, doesn't mean that they were originally from space. Same way applies to the Master Emerald. We see it on Earth, but it might not have originated on Earth. The lore is still being cooked and hopefully we get to know more about these magical trans-dimensional gems later on if the writers continue with it.

When we saw it in the flashback cutscene it was just sitting there, no shrine, no floating island, it was just chilling.

Well originally when sonic used the chaos emeralds he was overtaken by the chaotic energy and became fleetway which had red eyes with the weird lines it was kinda like when Goku first learned ssj it was kinda fueled by relatively negative energy so after they made it a positive it kept the color as a reference to it. Both the emeralds and the ruby have negative energy so it would make sense that they would be compatible only difference is the chaos emeralds have a yin/yang kind of energy while the ruby is pure evil.

Hey! The phantom ruby theory could be true due to the emeralds staying with sonic after getting hit by the energy ball and sonic reusing them. I can't recall if this is just a regular thing with sonic but to me they stayed around him in this game so yea.
