To defeat Cell in his full transformation, you need a new SSJ level, i.e. SSJ 2. Anything below SSJ 2 is not an any worth option. Vegeta and Trunks entire training can be thrown in the trash just like that. All hope is in Goku and especially his son Gohan which achieve this hidden power of SSJ 2 in full but can be activated through anger. The entire Cell vs Gohan fight is still a long way away, I'm looking forward to it because it's the best long fight in DBZ.

@@THE-ANCIENT_PredatorTechnically Gohan is the only one who achieved Super Saiyan 2. That means he surpass both Goku, Trunks and Vegeta.

@@johnsantos507 Agreed with you. Remember word which Goku tell to own son when they both entered to HTC on the same beginning. SSJ 2 is trully OP is enough to defeat Cell in his Perfect Transformation. So when Goku reaches SSJ 2 if Gohan already has it.

@@THE-ANCIENT_Predator I get that Super Saiyan 2 is the true Ascending Super Saiyan. But Trunks and Vegeta did not achieve Super Saiyan 2 because all they have is bulky.

@@johnsantos507 The truth is that everything they have is too weak. I wonder how much time you can train in HTC and the maximum time you can stay there. HMMM I've always wondered about this. Cell thinks he is perfect and invincible. He will make a big mistake when he fights Gohan and you will see. Stay and watch. It will take some time for Gohan to unleash his maximum potential SSJ 2 only by anger.

When Vegeta did that slow backflip to recover from missing his double kick to Cell face that’s pretty much how slow Vegeta is to perfect Cell and Cell isn’t even full power.

Vegeta still had his SSJ active and only Cell had his basic power level active and he is already much stronger than the idiot. Vegeta kicked him in the head and then pulled back, jumping away, realizing that he was too weak, but he would continue to engage in the fight until he himself was severely beaten, and maybe Trunks would finally step into his father's place and show his combat capabilities. Even Vegeta if he charged his full power SSJ to the max, it still wouldn't be enough.

It’s because they are masters of the mind. They meditate a lot so they gain power in the mind. Master roshis plenty of experience gave him this perspective, krillin was a monk too I think before he trained with Goku. Piccolo also has this advanced mind too, he had plenty of insight and perspective

No one can compete with Cell at the moment, let alone defeat him. Cell kicked Krillin so hard that he fell unconscious with no signs of life, he probably killed him, so Krillin died for the second time and the first time at the hands of the Galactic Emperor Frieza. Cell games approaching. This means that the villain will want to organize his own competition on his own terms, who will be able to defeat him or will there be someone worthy, and I know who it will be, but the others will have a hard time with it. Vegeta has surpassed the SSJ level but is still too weak to even scratch Cell. Vegeta does not sense Cell's true power, as you can see Vegeta is in the form of a regular SSJ and Cell has only a basic power level and is already stronger. It is possible that if Vegeta charges his power level to the maximum and it will be full power SSJ, but it will still not be enough. Even Trunks will be too weak. Something more is needed here, a more powerful force. Only Goku and his son Gohan remain, in both there is only hope and it is possible. 09:41 Gohan is now full SSJ, as Goku said that his son will go to full power SSJ and much further, i.e. SSJ 2, it is already obvious and default. This will be enough for Perfect Cell, but the fight will cost everyone very much. Goha obviously has to master it like any new SSJ level.
