SeamlessR - been watching you since your FL Studio tuts. Glad to know you're still putting good content out. I'm stuck between thinking that SD3 sounds fake in comparison to BFD3, and thinking that I can't quite put my finger on why it sounds fake. The hihats are definitely the main issue for me with SD3. But something about the way the engine loads and plays samples sounds fake to me even with he kicks and snares. Rides and Crashes don't so much have this issue, I'm thinking because the machine gunning effect is spaced apart. On the other hand both BFD3 and SD3 have anit-machine-gunning methods so why am I hearing it? It's like a compression envelope on every velocity that's read in. It kind of makes me think someone made the software do this on purpose, following some faster than normal decay envelope, even for kicks and snares (which already decay at a fine rate if you ask me. I'm looking at how I can fix it - but I hear it on every KZfaq video that plays sequences. Listing to BFD3 videos on youtube, I don't hear it. So there are sounds I like in SD3, and I want to like it, but this issue is driving me crazy.
