They mostly try to be funny (but failing HARD) and to not feel stuff. Read it as "i am scared of a tiny bug" and as "shit, it makes me feel guilty to see a cute cow"

@@surfingthedarkness supers chat is supers biggest group of haters, they will always try to make him look bad on purpose and make fun of him while being the nicest to anyone else, its like a running gag of the community for years now. Like mentioning his embarrassing stories to everyone, taking clips out of context and making fun of him with emotes like the mugshot one "Felon". Check any of his youtube videos the comments are most likely gonna say something like "Thanks for the new video super, it just made my day even worse". His community is actually really nice and accepting, its unfortunate that even then there will always be those few bad eggs but thats nigh impossible to avoid.

I noticed by accident a pesticide-free way of dealing with snails in the garden. Keep a few weeds! We had hogweed growing last year, and it was like catnip for the snails. At one time we had over 50 snails on a single plant. And they ate the whole thing over the course of the summer, leaving only a dried out stem. But no other plant was eaten by them, they only wanted the hogweed. So now we keep a little weed in the garden for the snails and we don't have to put any effort at all into keeping them out. In fact, it saves some effort because we don't have to pull out those weeds.

1:56:50 That's an Apache Jumping Spider, -Phiddippus Apacheanus.- They're one of, if not the most common species in the US. I got to handle and take pictures of one that came in a grocery shipment from LA at the grocery store that I work at. I let her go in the planters in the front of the store. She didn't cooperate quite as much as some of the other animals that I've relocated from the store, but a jumping spider constantly jumping away is nothing compared to the fruit bat flying around in a panic every time you sneak up to net them when their resting. It was really rewarding to release the bat safely away from the store that night though. Never let your boss tell you that safely releasing animals into the wild is a waste of company time, they won't have the balls to fire you for it because every other employee appreciates coworkers that care. Also, they're technically supposed to pay for professionals to do it and they never do, so I just tell them that if they won't then I will. That being said, if you're not confident that you can safely relocate an animal, be safe and pester who needs to be pestered to take responsibility and get a professional out to help. Edit: Correction, the spider they found was likely a male Phiddippus Johnsoni, Johnson Jumping Spider. They look similar as adults.

Killing a snake because you're afraid it will bite you is insane. Like, just take a single step back and you're out of strike distance. By the time you see the snake, if it was going to bite you, it would already have bitten you. So if you see a snake, regardless of species, there's zero point in fearing a bite as long as you are reasonable and stay away from it. It's just a little guy, it won't harm you unless you try to harm it!

Hey Maya! I'm one of the rare humans who has actually been bitten by a Phiddipus regius, I keep spiders, and post photos of them pretty regularly in your discord, I was quite sweaty one day and I think my girl, Inkarmat, tasted the salt though her feets, and after a couple minutes, gave me a nibble. It almost didn't hurt, almost. Getting poked by a tattoo gun once was worse than the bite. It was genuinely kind of cute because I could see her biting on my hand but also looking at me like "I do good job?". Second reaction: "Oh no, how do I make you stop without hurting you?" a few seconds later, she stopped, and I put her back in her enclosure. edit: i'll make sure a couple of pics of her have "inkarmat" in their message on the discord if you wanna find her. That was a gorgeous Phidippus johnsoni, and remarkably large!

Us making fun of super is just a running thing we've been doing for years. We obviously don't mean it, and yes most of super's chatters are ow frogs. But us making fun of him is a joke. He doesn't take it literally, you can watch any vod of super and guaranteed during the overwatch segments or random times in variety we make fun of him for fun. He it takes it jokingly.
