A lot of the time you can tell someone’s pronouns by looking at them, but sometimes you can’t, even without taking queerness into account. Femininity and masculinity have meant a lot of things over the years. Sometimes short hair is popular among women, sometimes long hair is. Same for men. Tomboys and such exist too. You don’t have to be queer to look however you like, and that can mean others won’t be able to guess your pronouns. It can be respectful to ask if you’re not sure. I mostly mentioned the Shakespeare point to show that they can be used in a singular manner, dating back centuries. Singular they was used before it was used for queer identities, and has been grammatically correct for a long time. I didn’t see that acknowledged in your original comment, which implied that they had only ever been plural before it was used for queer identities and I wanted to add a caveat. Plus, language can change and evolve. We don’t talk the same way they did in Shakespeare’s time and that’s ok. Just because something is new, doesn’t mean it’s grammatically incorrect. I mean, I'm pretty sure nobody aborts "just because." It's scary, painful, expensive, and mentally damaging. That's kind of like saying someone gets a heart transplant "just because". I disagree with your first point, you should be able to abort for any reason because if you don't want kids than your unwanted child is going to not be able to live a properly good life or be loved, or you don't want kids because you know you can't take care of them. Mistakes happen. I agree with your second point because if our government is ever met with these people who live on the Internet and have no sense of the real world, and truly believe they are struggling and miserable, we are in trouble.
