You should try smoking the pompano whole -- stuff them with thyme/rosemary/garlic cloves, score each side diagonally, brush it with olive oil, and give it a good covering of salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder/oregano. Smoke it with your favorite wood & chunk charcoal. It's great for the 11-13" dinks.

Hey from Destin. What area are you making these videos from? That stretch of beach between Pensacola Beach and Navarre? Didn’t know the pompano run this late. Got to love those Fall sunsets. Thanks again!

Fall Pompano bite is usually pretty good up until Decemeber. Still around in Decemeber too, just not as many. I fish anywhere from Navarre to Fort Pickens. If you get back out to the beach good luck!
