Buying my Dad his dream car and surprising him with it out of nowhere was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I surprised my dad with a new car and he did not expect it at all! We saved over 75% off of MSRP by not buying it from the dealership!
With luxury cars it's better to let someone else buy it new and take the huge depreciation hit first. Then you can buy it at an amazing price with low mileage and just a few years old. We wrapped the car with an Indulgent Blue wrap to make it look amazing and we learned how to change the oil in an exotic car to save a ton of money!

Yes but that's not a toy, it's for collectors, some models are really hard to find, for example I've been looking for an alfa 147 and an alfa 159, for years now I haven't found the right size to fit the rest of my alfa romeo collection (1/24).

When I sold high-end autos, and dealt with after-market warranties, the only brand, and I mean ONLY brand that I could NOT sell a warranty on, in any shape or form, was a Maserati. Still, very sweet gesture, and as long as he's willing to work on it, it'll be great.

Wow, what a response time ! Just want to let you know I found your channel a while ago but didn't have a car to work on yet. About a year ago I bought an 18 year old BMW E46 to a complete scam of a garage. The car looked fantastic from the outside but the garage had cleared the codes on the dashboard right before giving me the keys and I didn't know what clues to look for when buying my first car... Shortly after buying it, I got a quote from BMW to get it back in decent conditions (3000 euros). I never meant for this car to become a project car but it did. Your videos are the reason I got the motivation to start learing how to fix this car. I'm almost done getting my now favourite car into amazing shape for about 800 euros (including buying the tools). And that doesn't even count the money my dad could save when I started doing all the maintenance of his Saab 95. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for all your work, for saving me from bank ruptcy and giving me one of the most rewarding hobby I ever had !

I've always had a thing for Nissans to answer the question, and it's honestly tied between a Fairlady / Datsun or 2016 GTR. @@erictold these kind of cars are made to be serviced in official dealers or expensive garages. They vacuum fluids instead of draining. Kinda like the overpriced apple stores, just charging you extra cus it looks pretty.
