I bought this bike brand new, from dealer on April 7, 1994. I had just turned 18. I LIVED ON THIS THING for four years. Put almost 50k miles on it. After blowing second gear (for a third time), I couldn’t afford to have it fixed, and sold it in 1998-1999. I have had numerous bikes since, but this was my favorite I think (probably due to that time in my life being awesome). I have dreams to this day of me riding wheelies down street with GF. Thanks for posting. Was great to see it again.

Very interesting ! it"s pretty hard to get some review about bikes from the middle 90s.The RF600R is a good cheap bike, you can find a mint second hand for a very low price.

Thanks for posting this! My FAV RF (though both the 600 and 900 are equally good) is the much more widely available (at least in North America) RF900R. The RF bikes also happen to be one of my FAV Suzuki bikes from the 90s, along with the GSX-R, Katana, TL1000R (which came out in ‘98) and the first Hayabusa.

Flip top glove box on left, top side of fairing. Just under left handle grip kinda
