You were a little harsh on a few drivers but those roundabout interactions were spectacular. The postscript clip jawdropping.

I hungarian joke comes to my mind. There is a swearing contest. The English comes first. He enters the room and swears for two minutes straight. Then the German enters and swears for five minutes straight. Then the Hungarian stumbles upon the door threshold, swears for two hours and enters the room: "may I start?"

No cycling road tracks in Switzerland 😦

If you ride in an offensive manner like that, without ever braking for anyone, how do you expect everyone else to brake for you? Half of the situations in this video are the cyclist being the annoying participant in traffic, unwilling to slow down even a little bit to share narrow roads with others. And I'm saying this as a cyclist who never even owned a car in his entire life, at age 40 now. Neither do I want to minimize the actually dangerous behavior by some drivers in the video. But still: you plant rice, you harvest rice.

That last incident was terrible. Do you ever report drivers like that and if so do the Swiss Police prosecute?
@Velofil3 жыл бұрын
I almost never report, it would be a waste of time....

@@Velofil Most police officers are drivers and very few are cyclists so I appreciate the problem however that last case was blatantly dangerous and grossly irresponsible so it would have been interesting to see what action the police took.

Kind of. German and Swiss German share the same "parent" language which is also called German. But modern German bares no direct influence on these other languages. It's more accurate to say that modern German German is the newest language, being a relatively new country and in fact modern "German" is a mix of Dutch, Austrian and Swiss, with a hint of Danish, spoken with an altogether slightly too self-important manner.

@@HelenaRG71 I don't know. Swiss have very good reputation about everything, not only cheese and watches. 🤣 But as I can see, they can be terrible.

@@MedBikem4y0 Here in switzerland are really some of the worst drivers. They drive slow when its safe and fast when uts dangerous. On the highways the maximum distance between cars (even with a speed of 130 km/h thats 80 mph) is about 2 meters sometimes (thats about 6.5 feet). The tailgaiting is insane. And the aggressive honkers in the cities. A lot of rich people with loud and fast cars. A lot of roads are in constant traffic jams, with everyone being angry and frustratet. But sometimes its still strangely smooth and calm. But it depends also on the day.
