Gist of the Story:
The HAL Tejas is an Indian single-engine fighter designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency in association with Aircraft Research and Design Centre of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The HAL Tejas is resultant of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme, which began in the 1980s to replace MiG-21 fighters of Indian Air Force.

എന്തായാലും "തേജസ്സ്"എന്ന് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ അഭിമാനം കൊള്ളുന്നു.ചെറിയ രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ കഴിയുന്ന യുദ്ധവിമാനം ആയതിനാൽ വിപണി തുറന്നു കിട്ടും.ഇന്ത്യ യുദ്ധമുഖത്ത് തേജസ്സ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ ലോകോത്തര നിലവാരമുള്ള ഒരുഗ്രൻ ആയുധമായി തീരും.ഇന്ന് റഫാലിന് കിട്ടുന്ന അംഗീകാരം നമ്മുടെ തേജസ്സിനും ലഭിക്കും.

ഒരു പഴഞ്ചൻ. വിമാനമായ mig21. ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പാകിസ്താന്റെ F 16. എന്ന അമേരിക്കൻ ആധുനിക വിമാനത്തെ തകർക്കാൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ എയർഫോഴ്‌സിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു തേജസ്‌ എന്ന വിമാനം യുദ്ധത്തിന് ഇറങ്ങിയാൽ ചൈനയും. പാകിസ്ഥാനും ഒത്തിരി വിയർക്കേണ്ടി വരും കാരണം technology അല്ല വിജയം. നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത് അവസാന. നിമിഷം വരെ പോരാടാനുള്ള കഴിവാണ് വിജയം നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത് കരുത്തുള്ള മനസ്സ് അത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ പൈലറ്റുമാർക്ക് വേണ്ടുവോളം ഉണ്ട്

Mig 21 is a high performance fighter ,mig 21 canot campare with Tejas.mig 21 have more than 2.2 mach speed and high manuorablity, it can perform acording to pilot mind,no one can bete a mig 21 if a good pilot in the cocpit

എന്റെ അനിയൻ നേവിയിലെ ആയിരുന്നു... അവന്റെ കൂടെ മൂന്ന് കൊല്ലം കൂടെ വർക്ക് ചെയ്ത കൂട്ടുകാരൻ നേവി cid ആണെന്ന് അവൻ അറിഞ്ഞത് ആ പയ്യൻ അവിടെ നിന്ന് സ്ഥലം മാറി ഒരു കൊല്ലം കഴിഞ്ഞാണ്... മില്ലിറ്ററി സീക്രെട് ഒക്കെ അങ്ങനെ ആണ്..

പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഭാഗങ്ങൾ വിദേശി ആണെന്ന് പറയുന്നവര് ഒന്നറിഞ്ഞാൽ കൊള്ളാം Saab JAS 39 Gripen നല്ലൊരു fighter ആണ് പക്ഷെ അതിൻ്റെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം പ്രധാന ഭാഗങ്ങളും വിദേശി ആണ്. Engine, സീറ്റ്, wepon, avionics etc... അമേരിക്കയുടെ F16 വരെ പാർട്സ് outsource ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്

Hello Aneesh I just saw your video..being an ardent lover of aircraft technology, I straight away subsribed to your channel. As you said although we took decades to develop LCA, it is at par with any of the variants available in the world. Make in India is a good approach by the govt to give impetus to the private sector (PS) to come up with various innovations in the defense field. Now you will see there will be momentum and I will not be surprised that the private companies will move ahead of HAL or ADA; just for one reason that in PS performance and competition matters to their survival. Now coming back to Tejas, our main hurdle to export is that the critical components are foreign - engine, ejection seats etc. Only to those countries who are politically, financially and economically having good relationship with US, France, UK and Israel, we are able to pitch for Tejas. Not many countries fit into that bucket. Evident example is from Argentinian Airforce who were interested in Tejas but we had to back off because of pressure from UK who is having a strained relations with Argentina. So I am keeping my hopes alive that we will overcome all these adversaries to have our jet engine Made in India. We mastered the cryogenic technology when challenged. We only need a wake-up call to charge forward and the recent skirmish at our borders are a wake-up call for us.
