Teams in the West already appear to be making moves, particularly in the LCS where Cloud9 appears to be assembling a fearsome roster if the rumors are to be believed. What do the Power Spike guys think about the alleged destination of these LCS stars? btw gala was down 20 cs and 2 plates at 8 minutes.also taking their sums because hang almost dies at 7:30 so id say the counter picks were working really well. Idk if you think dl or sneaky smart or not but i watched their co stream and both of them said even if jg comes down to try and alleviate pressure he cant because they will get 2 v 3 that the early prowess on varus ashe with hail of blades is too hard to counter play. I'd even say even it was missings Rakan and they try to force a fight there or they just lose the all in and get set even further behind.

He praised t1 draft, evaluted the mid matchuo fairly, and if anything, the focus on LNG olaying poorly rather than T1s players playing well is a testament to him, probably all of them, believing it's more normal for T1 to play at that level rather than it is for LNG to play at that level, especially because, and this is as a T1 fan, Tarzan and Hang offered no resistance

@robinandersson99 Maybe saying that he was standing in the one spot he could get stunned is the wrong way to say it. There was only one spot he could get stunned on from that angle, and he was standing exactly where he needed to. If he was standing to the left or the right, he would not have been able to be stunned. The flash from Oner was well executed, but Tarzan literally pulled his pants down and bent over so that Oner could rail him into the wall

Their match against KT game 1 showed their weakness. They all rely too much for Ruler's damage, that's why the 1:3:1 side lane worked. I wonder why KT decided to change their strat when sidelaning obviously worked.

Unless they have brainfart, you can't outdraft JDG like you did LNG. Every single player on JDG has deeper pool and more counters to T1 preferential/meta picks (except against Keria). Also, "good" jack of all trades midlaners usually don't usually get to finals.

I don't want to write an entire post, in short - JDG champ pool and effective level of play on each of those champions is enabling that exact straightforward 5v5 style (which all meta picks cater to well) otherwise they would've been neutered by BLG/LNG in playoffs. "If it's not broken don't fix it" policy JDG have doesn't mean they couldn't mix it up if they somehow got outdrafted vs T1. Also, you can't ban out Knight, 369 and Ruler (who didn't even get to play Xayah yet).

@@Agaryunaer JDG is much easier to ban out than T1. This is fact. T1 has a much broader champion pool and can play multiple styles, unlike JDG. It will be a great match, but due to the meta suiting T1 again and JDGs rough look at worlds so far, I’m taking T1 60/40 odds

the thing about T1 is Oner tend to play through zeus so if zeus choke oner choke. And their botlane fight every chance they have so if they dont pin down enemy jungle , its doom. Just look at lng series, all game tarzan positions were known hence oner can correspond tarzan while keeping top side feed

In regards to EG more than likely being gone by next year, isn't it a terrible management decision what they are doing? If you don't sell, your roster will be screwed. If you do sell, you are going to get way less because you chose to sell out after all the big names are gone in FA. They are basically going to get peanuts for their slot. This is assuming they are desperate to sell. If they end up wanting a minimum price or they won't sell, then it makes sense what they are doing. Sell your pieces, and if nothing works out when you try to sell, you keep your slot and run a minimum cost team.

Because it’s an employment contract where a person does a thing for an agreed amount of money. The company risks losing capital, the player risks being stuck on a shitty team(still earning a kings ransom).

@@TheAngelFollyyeah. Faker haas been the only player to successfully win on Azirz IIRC He won it by sac-ing his own farm to rotate quicker and overload the other lanes. Ganged bot multiple time to swing it into T1’s favor. That’s why I’m of the opinion that Faker now uses his deep deep knowledge of lane match ups and experience to nullify his lane opponent, and assist his teammates, instead of outright winning lane. If he wins it like the Game 1 against LNG, all the better but it’s no longer his main focus’s

I don't understand both of these guys acting as if Faker didn't just beat the best mid laner in China. Faker hasn't had to play anything but 3 champs. Okay, and he has played more champs than anyone else at worlds? A lot of this just feels clickbait. T1 was back in form in BLG 2-0. Then they showcased that it wasn't a fluke with a 3-0 stomp against LNG who went 2-3 twice against the summer LPL champs. T1 is just mostly back in form, who clowned the 2nd best LPL team most recently. Why do they not feel as if these two teams can both go toe to toe? Seems silly to downplay either team at this point.

Where did you see them downplaying either of these teams? Monte predicted T1 to win and gave evidence for that claim, Dom made a counterpoint that the win condition Monte proposed would not come into effect as easily in the series vs JDG, and said that JDG are still the favorites for him. Both said that the series could go either way. How did they in any way insinuate what you’re proposing they did? Did you even watch the podcast?

That's a ridiculous statement to make. When T1 does well, Dom manages to make it seem as if the other team chokes. Then they say people forget msi where BLG 3-0 T1 and acts as if that matters. He should know better than anyone new patches and meta means that msi has never mattered when it comes to worlds. I will agree near the end monte gives it to T1 and gives a reasonable argument. But Dom has always managed to find ways to downplay Korean scene. He says Chinese teams have done better the last 6 years .. wtf. China has never won without 2-3 Koreans plus coaches who have always carried their teams (rookie/shy, gimgoon/doinb etc) and on top of that Korea has still won more. I just find these long discussions between a couple of old pros, poor analytics. Caedrel gives more in 5 minutes than this 1.5 hour long runaround. These guys haven't been relevant in the scene and it shows in their talking points.

MSI never happened..yeah no shit T1 fans like to forget how they collapsed - they also had bad mental this year and played a bad split - but that roster has been dominant for so long, they get a pass for messing up at MSI because they showed that they CAN in fact beat these teams - they beat JDG at worlds last year and BLG in Swiss this worlds in rather dominant fashion..and to be perfectly honest about the MSI performance against BLG that was not the raid boss T1 we have seen for 2 years running through teams left and right - these Kindred jungle picks were things T1 never showed before and never really played since.. it felt unreal to fans because not only did they play badly vs BLG and got eliminated (deservedly), they also didn't play their own style from draft onwards..it was like an out of body experience to watch them - now that they are back to their usual style, they should be evaluated on that more than the MSI performance which really did seem like an outlier compared to the long track record of playoffs and internationals they have played with that roster - JDG CAN beat T1 NO QUESTION and JDG should be the favourite going into the series, but I don't really believe BLG is better than T1 as it stands now nor would it be fair to assume that based of what happened at MSI JDG collapsed against T1 last year - I also don't think that series was representative of JDG

You realise that is completely illogical. How is it a good thing to not be getting leads? How is it a good thing to have a lane advantage from draft and still somehow be down in gold? Like firstly JDG are not LNG. They are not going to get baited into losing Matchups - They can absolutely match T1 botlane with these kooky range picks and if GALA can get a lead after losing a 1v1 into a losing matchup... Ruler can, Ruler with a lead is harder to deal with than GALA. JDG play expertly around Ruler when he has a lead. The fact that T1 is failing to get sizable leads in winning matchups is a BAD thing. Like if Tarzan isn't getting gangbanged across the map (Which btw Kanavi won't and Knight will not get gapped by Faker), then LNG are nowhere near as big a hole in this game as they were. The fact that LNG Bot were still getting gold leads or staying even in a losing matchup is bad for T1. Like do people not understand that? Like the point of picking Range support is you win lane and you win before the game hits late game... If T1 are unable to get those leads and it reaches the late game JDG are a much better team fighting team. They proved that at MSI. They proved that all year.
