I've been watching al Pastor videos on youtube for weeks now, and this is my fave so far. I especially love how you flavor the tortillas with the adobo as well as mix the condiments beforehand. al Pastor is my fave right beside posole rojo. Thank you so much for this! Those tacos looked absolutely off the hook. I'm a pretty decent cook but I am learning a lot watching you, we are huge Mexican food eaters but I needed to learn some true techniques. I could easily sit at your kitchen table have a plate of food then go take a nap on your couch no problem.

I could just watch you cook all day long my sweet Rachel. And these look so delicious and really not that hard to make. I'm already thinking of what I'm going to substitute for Johnny and I'm thinking by using the marinade, I can either use chicken or even the soy pork they make if I take off the breading. I use the soy pork to make him his own version of carnitas. My sister in law just loves pineapple in any dish she can find in and this one is going to go over wonderfully with her as well. I just love your videos as they give me all kinds of fun ideas to make for us both. Here's wishing you my dear friend and your Ron a week full of smiles, love and lots and lots of blessings. Hi Rachel. I was looking for a recipe for al pastor tacos to make for my in-laws that were all born and raised in the Shenandoah Vally in Virginia. My husband, who was born there and now lives in San Antonio, loves al pastor tacos. He told his family about them, and I'm going to try and make this for them. Your video and recipe is perfect.
