@GreenSplodge Certainly, I plan on recording some videos Saturday, and will have them posted over the weekend. Just recently started making videos, and look forward to more suggestions and requests!

Could you do a video on some good punching and kicking combinations? As well as some stretches which can help to increase the strength and height of kicks?

Wonderful. I prefer to use the ball of the foot when throwing the dollyo chagi. It is definitely more effective.

Are these white belt techniques? Wow. I Train DTF's STS (DTF is Danish Taekwondo Federation & STS is Son Taekwondo Samvirke) and Yeop Chagi belongs to Orange... White belts has: Apchug Apchagi, Baldum Apchagi & Apchullegi. Yellow belts gets: Dollyo Chagi. Orange bels gets: Yeop Chagi. Tbh doesn't surprise me. Many clubs black belt tests are the purple belt teste for our club. STS has quite a lot more stuff in it than normal taekwondo. Looks good anyway doe. May I ask for your belt system too? Thanks and Taekwon.

+R4ndomDewdZ We use the six belt system (White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Black). I teach from a fundamental standpoint in which all white belts learn Front, Side, Turning, Back & Crescent Kicks. All other kicks (with exception of the twisting kick) are variations of these. Once these fundamental kicking techniques are learned you simply add a step, a hop, a jump, a spin, etc. I believe there is no such thing as an advanced technique, only an advanced understanding of the fundamental technique.

batemanTKD Ah I see :) Thanks for the response. My club uses 10 belts. White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Brown, Brown with one stribe, Brow with two stribes and finally Black :)

They both have a place, the instep is better suited for striking the low section (thigh), and also adds a bit of reach for sparring applications. You are correct though, the ball of the foot concentrates the energy of the kick far more effectively thus causing more damage on impact! Shoot me a PM sometime or email me. I'd love to hear how your training has been going.

Not so sure. Instep has less cushion/harder surface

Good day my friend. I believe you are speaking of a Reverse Turning Kick (spinning heel kick). I will try and get a video up in the near future covering this and other common requests. Might I ask from which country you reside? God Bless & TAEKWON!
