It's good for vegetarians. Taiwan is a heaven to vegetarians. A lot of fresh and cheap fruits, vegetables and soy bean food.

That’s true. In Taiwan you can easily find a vegetarian restaurant.

Never knew that beancurd skin had such a labourious making process. It must have been swelteringly hot in the factory with all that steam 🥵 I’ll appreciate my beancurd skin more the next time I eat it! ❤️

Like you, I'd never realized it's so laborious. Cheap and nutritious food. I like to cook together with Barley soup and add a little sugar. It's a nice desert soup. Unfortunately can't find any gingko nuts in the Philippines.
You have to try this kind of tofu. tofu skin. It taste quite different from tofu and soooo delicious.

Now I understand why it's expensive in my part of the world. For home consumption its easy enough to do. Will try to DIY it myself. Thank you for uploading this video. ❤

amazing the preparation process! all my respect for the workers who do this craft. I've never had tofu skin, it's not common where I live, but I'd love to eat it.
