History and philosophy is amazing! It's interesting how the Greeks were intelligent enough to learn and apply everything from the Babylonians/ Assyrians & Sumerians, and than build upon it! Very similar what happened in the Renaissance period when they rediscovered ancient greek history, philosophy, math, etc. Christians/Cathloics tried to supress it, and the printing press helped spread the accurate information!

I've been into philosophy my whole life, but started working fulltime lately (sometimes more) and I feel like I hardly have time to read anymore (barely have time for jits.) I think we need more free time. The 8 hour work week was fought for 100 years ago. Has technology improved in the last 100 years? Has that technology made life easier/made it so there is less work? If so, why do we all work for other people's wealth at such a high rate. Sure if you're self employed work all you want but if you work for a major company do you really see the benefits at the same rate as previous generations?

Could you do a full video on why you believe knowledge is innate? For example, if you take a man who wants to become a surgeon and is destined to become one, and throw him straight on the operating table before school, it will be a failure. Knowledge is obtained only by the individual who is willing to dedicate his mind and lots effort. But it doesn’t randomly appear if no effort is given

I'm not calling myself a philosopher by any means, but I do like to think. Most of the time, I do not agree with your philosophical arguments and it would not be beneficial to argue them in the comment section. However, I do keep coming back because your ideas are not the same as mine. I believe that it is very important to listen to ideas that are very different from your own. When I say listen, one should really try to see where they are coming from and why they believe what they believe. One should always try to see what comes before, it will inform you more about who the person is. For me, I like to be exposed to all and any ideas, so that I have more references to make an informed decision for myself

I am curious about what Western philosophers would say about the East too. Buddhism I think is more advanced, where 2 things exist simultaneously (something the ego identity doesn't like), you have a relative, dualistic world that is not ultimately true but valid in that our brains think of it as true to survive, BUT there simultaneously is the ultimate, non-dualistic world that is the real truth of no separation and that all comes from a non-physical source, both from our perspective and the whole. The other thing about the ancient East is that they realized you can't ultimately use the mind to free the mind (logic is great too for other things though), you can only disengage from it or be more objective about 'your' self and your mind's contents, and then you can find inner-peace.

If you believe in a God, then by definition he's all knowing and all powerful, so that makes him the mastermind of all suffering, all life is just a cruel manifestation of a God that one day made a choice to invent suffering, I think the God belief is just terror management, fear of death and the uncertainty of tomorrow is what makes us believe we have souls and will outlive all the stars of the universe, a human is just a very smart creature,a master of his imagination, designed to create religious beliefs so they don't have to fear their eternal oblivion

I agree with some of your concepts but philosophy as a whole is haraam man. Why would you want the opinion of people who missed the most obvious answer in the world on who is the originator of the universe. The Quran provides logical, intellectual, psychological, emotional proofs, in many surahs. Whenever they bring you an argument, We come to you with the right refutation and the best explanation. We are not in need of philosophy as Muslims, philosophers are silly to the point, they doubt themselves. How can we call someone an intellectual if they doubt themselves. Some of your concepts are spot on about randomness and chance, however claiming philosophy is pure intellectual arguments is not true.

@@osub no evidence? subhanallah. Brother the prophet way is the criteria, so anything that is astray from the path he was on is innovation. Aisha رضي الله عنها reported that the messenger of Allah ﷺ states “Whoever innovates into this matter of ours that which does not belong to it, it will be rejected.” Philosophical evidences for why Allah exists were never used by the Prophets and Messengers which means it is a bidah, so calling people to truth using it is rejected by Allah. Even the 4 great Imams, May Allah have mercy on them, Imam Shafiee, Imam Malik, Imam Abu Hanifa and Imam Ahmed all unanimously said calling to Islam using philosophy is haraam. Why would you want the Kalam of Aristotle, Plato, Rene Descartes, when us Muslims have the Kalam of the prophet & Allah himself. Shaykh Islam Ibn Taymiyyah studied philosophy yes, to prove the inconsistencies on philosophical arguments. Read through the whole Quran, there’s so many evidences for Allah existence, we are not in need of those who missed the obvious answer on who is the originator of the universe to build a case on who is the originator of the universe, makes no sense. Do not listen to this miseducation. The Greeks and their philosophers studied in Kemet (renamed Egypt by the Greeks) They all Socrates Plato studied at the first university Timbuktu university and took from Kemet (African) culture and civilisations. Indeed they modelled much of their belief systems, thinking eg philosophy directly from Kemet. Go study and you’ll see where Aristotle studied indeed where they all went. But for Egypt (original name kemet) there would be no Creek civilisation as we know it and consequently no Roman Empire as we knew it. Note after the Roman Empire fell. Europe went into indeed much of it was already experiencing the DARK AGES. The Muslim Moores from Africa then entered Spain conquered much of Europe and with that brought culture and civilisation. Go visit Spain and especially the Catalan regions. Don’t be miseducated
