⚠️Notice!⚠️ 1. I tried to stick to the most natural way to say the expressions, so I ended up omitting object particles in some sentences. ⭕ 피아노 치다 ➡️ 피아노'를' 치다 (치다 needs an object. But colloquially, it’s okay to say without 를) ⭕ 책 읽다 ➡️ 책'을' 읽다 (읽다 also needs the one) ⭕ 사진 찍다 ➡️ 사진'을' 찍다 (Same) Every sentence in this video is used/spoken a lot in a colloquial style. But when you write an essay, article, etc, then you must use the particles. 2. In English, you would often say “Go camping". You might say this as if it were a phrase. But in Korean, a lot of people just say 캠핑하다 (To camp) In that way, you’re expressing you enjoy camping itself. However, If you say 캠핑하러 “가는”(go) 것을 좋아해요, it focuses more on the behaviour of ‘going’, so it’s slightly different 3. Last but not least, I said ‘Reading a book’ is ‘책 읽기’ in Korean but there is also another word with the same meaning which is 독서 독서 is an advanced word and it would sound a bit poetic, but some people would describe their hobbies as 독서 ✔ e.g. 제 취미는 독서예요 / 저는 독서하는 것을 좋아해요 4. '-는 것을' can be shorted as '-는 걸' colloquially! It sounds much more natural. 저는 요리하는 걸 좋아해요, 저는 피아노 치는 걸 좋아해요, and so on

Oh, so useful for the learners! Students always ask how to talk about their hobbies from very early on! 👍🏻 정말 유용한 비디오인 것 같아요! 취미를 이야기하는 방법은 항상 초급 때부터 궁금해하더라구요. ㅎㅎㅎ 그나저나 선생님 편집 실력은 너무 수준급이에요...!!!
