Is it truly worth the trouble? There are a other cheaper and, in my humble opinion, more effective methods of tire puncture proofing...

Brother buy a 4in tow strap, cut to fit the circumference of the tire tape the two ends together with gorilla tape and install the taped section opposite of the valve stem so there's no out of balance issue. The tow straps are extremely strong but surprisingly soft to the touch I run them in my e-bike and have no problems ever with flats. Ride safe!

I bought a set before I saw this video. Disappointing, but makes sense ... With hindsight, I should have known better: I'm a polyurethane foam chemist. The constant pressure of the tube will* inevitably* flatten out the open cell foam over time (Michelin Bibmousse is closed cell foam, a totally different type of beast). Deflating the tire, allowing time and providing heat will indeed reverse, only to a point, the flattened foam. I wrote "to a point" because creep is not reversible. Ahah, what an answer, BTW!, like that's conveninet! Put these requirements on the label, Mr Tannus, see how many of Armours you sell. (The lesson here is not letting techies give answers to the public). Too bad. The race for the best puncture proof device is still on.

Why can't they do better puncher protection come on we send people up2 the moon but can't stop our tires from getting flats you've got the best idea using old innertubes 🤔

If u have fat tires & have Velcro straps. Wrap them around the tire & rim & stops the tire coming off the wheel when walking with it Do that when u get a flat

did you get a puncture? did it somehow cause a leak in the inner tube? why could it not be re-inflated for the ride home? was the pressure in the tire slowly lowering with time as the insert lost elasticity, or does it happen overnight if tire is not deflated after ride? if the insert remains in flattened "compromised" state and tube is re-inflated to proper "feel", does it ride relatively normal? are there any risk of using it in that compromised state? just wondering... I like what you remarked about the canadian company, looks like a product you just install and forget that can add alot of benefits. hope they knock it out of the ball park with this idea. full disclosure, I have been running one on a rear 26" continental spiked tire and front ice stryker pro, with a stock bbs02 all winter, as in every day no matter what weather, and had noticed "serious" tire deflation shortly after installation, my duck tape solution was to re-inflate tires. seems to have worked so far, only did it once. did not even remember reading about compression issues before purchase, but your video sorta clarified my experiences. thanks

Can you live easily in montrral if youre not able to speak french?

Yes, you can absolutely live in MTL with very little French. In fact, I know many people who barely speak a word who are born and raised downtown. However, just like in almost anything in life, you get out what you put in so learning some French will only make your life easier and more fun.

Take this down 🤣 All you have to do is deflate your tires once a month and warm your tires up and the foam springs back to its original self.
