I’ve had this amp for two + years attached to a 12” Sundown pro series I think. No markings on speaker. This is a beast and everyone I run across I show it to them and do a demonstration on the massive power this will produce. It’s scary loud. I would be a rep for the company in a second. I own a home remodeling business and talk to hundreds of people about this amp every couple of months.

I love these Brazilian boards. Very small foot print and some are very efficient on amperage draw for the amount of watts the put out. Also very versatile when it comes to the option of 1 or 2 ohm models that make the same power at different resistances! Gunna be getting a Banda 4K for my two American bass HD's

This amp is one of the best amps i have owned i have the 1ohm version on 3 p3 12s and it hits hard i recommend you upgrade your electrical for the best performance because I did and it makes a difference

I have the PRV 5800 1 ohm Brazil amp and it is fricken unbelievable on a sundown 10" sub it feels and sounds like 2-15" subs ripping the trunk that is lined with dyno mat to shreds ...This is one of the best amps I have ever owned....

I am seriously happy u tested this amp. I don't remember u testing it last year. I just watched the video yesterday, for what I thought was the first time. I have the hd 10k 2ohm version on this amp and everyone says and acts as if it will only put out maybe half of the power. This shows me that it will put out its power or damn near it. Taramps started to manufacture the HD3000 that delivers around 4000W in 60Hz since 2019 January. They have two big capacitors inside now.

WOW what an old video! Really needed this. Actually pulled the trigger and bought one of these bad boys today for $198!!! Plan to run my single 12 at 8 ohms until I save up for electrical upgrades and another 12 to run it at the 3000 @ 2 ohms. Currently just running a 2.0 farad capacitor, should handle it just fine💪🏼

I know this is an older video, but I'm very intrigued with these small foot print Brazilian amps. I have limited amplifier space in my truck , and these look like a great option. Just a little unsure if about the Taramps vs Soundigital vs Stetson vs PRV. They all seem pretty similar in design, size, and ratings. I'm leaning toward a Soundigital Evo 2500.1 or 3000.1 but can't find much testing online. It would be awesome if you could put together a test between the similar 3k Brazil amps so we can see what's really going on. Thanks again! I just bought the 1 ohm version have you tested it yet I'd love to see it dyno I'm curious how efficient it is and what kind of current draw it uses and I'd like to tell you I love watching your dyno videos man even if you don't do a video of the 1ohm version can you at least let me know if you have tested it and what the results were I'd appreciate it

Epcos capacitors used in this amplifier are one of the best on the market. Super expensive too, usually only used in commercial aplications where cost doesnt matter all that much. This amp is going to last a loong time.

after thinking about Taramps for a long time, I got rid of 2 big Twisted 3.5ks and went with an HD8000..This amp is a monster, half the size of one TS3.5k ..Pushes my DC xls to the max..SUPER EFFICIENT AND NOT POWER HUNGRY...PRICE FOR POWeR IS THE BEST...BUY THEM, BUY THEM..is all i can say

I have been using my taramps 12k bass for a while now. Not going back to korean for a while. ..did my own test on crescendo 12k vs my taramp 12k on the db meter...taramp won hands down...thanks big d, when you get your power bank up to handle the big taramp 12k let me know...gladly let you test them..

I am surprised about 2 things: 1) this thing doing rated power and over, and 2) the big name-brand capacitors in there. EPCOS is a big and expensive brand, you will see a lot worse in amps made by otherwise very reputable companies. I think the key to these doing so good out of a not-so-impressive build is the use of quality components, which some of the really big, established brands have forgotten about, especially in the lower priced models. Kudos to Brazilian engineers and workers for making that happen.

I got this exact amp on 2 sundown sa12 and well....holy hell at the sheer brutality and head knocking, eye rattling, bass this thing makes. I had them on a 2000w Kenwood and decided to give Taramps a go and I'm extremely glad I did....it makes the kenwood seem like a Walmart amp. I ran into a guy just last night at the gas station that had 2 JL 15s and he thought I was lying when I told him I only had 12s...he was convinced I had 2 18s in the trunk. I'm going to rock with this setup for a while but I'm already saving to add 2 more SA12s and add another if these amps to my trunk in the future. My 4 year old boy also loves to tell people...just randoms people with stereos or not that, "my daddy's stereo is louder than yours!" And so far he hasn't been wrong.

Respectfully, what causes fires is not high voltage, but high current. A short circuit across a large battery bank will cause a fire (high current), but you can have several thousand volts before you have to worry about a spark jumping across a gap of meaningful size. 320 amps of current is incredible, and your wiring needs to be large (with solid, properly-made connections and tightly-screwed terminals) to prevent heating of the conductors. Power is volts * amps, so at 12V, to supply 3000W, you need to supply extreme amperage. The efficiency of this amp into the loads is only about 75-80%.

Guys I have the Smart 3 taramps and just got a hd3000 for the price and power that comes out if these I might only ever buy taramps for my setups!🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽 I'm not into competition stuff but I'm starting to feel like getting into it with this brand

Just my opinion but I personally don't think these amps are worth the money seeing as how they're just a few dollars less than a synergy Audio amp or twisted sounds with Korean boards. As always great work Big D Wiz!

3k watts from something that small is really awesome. durability is the question im building a small bandpass box with 4 8 inch sundowns and i need a 2ohm amp with some power i gonna try one out this can easily go under the seat in the burban

The fire from that truck was probably from the tiny inputs on the amps. Like trying to push 1k amps through 16 gauge speaker wire.
