I've only had one once... I was about 7 and stole it from the supermarket because I knew my mom would never buy anything that weird. The occasional pineapple was about as exotic as fruit got in our household. I felt REALLY guilty, but it was also very good. I should maybe buy some now that I'm a grown up with my own money. :P

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, in the 90s. A pomegranate was considered so "exotic " my classmates at the lunch table were scared and refused to try it. Lol, thank God for the internet, we get to set new food goals everyday!

I recently bought a can of these from Walmart for about $2.69. It was the first time I've tried them. They are definitely unlike any fruit that I have ever tasted. Not that I've tasted many "exotic" fruits, but they were definitely quite pleasant. Floral and grape-like in texture.
