Many thanks for doing this one, Koba! I, too, have one in .357 Magnum and i love it! It never misses a beat and i have never had a hint of a problem with it. I love that it is such a "curious" gun, too. I haven't had mine out shooting it for a while either, but that's just my old age. Hey, i am still waiting for your video of a complete disassembly/reassembly of it (ha, ha...wink, wink!). Thanks for the show, Mike!

These guns have no sear disconnect,they will pump fire as fast as you work the action.

I’m shooting the Pedersoli version for Cowboy Action, and it is a great rifle. Was wondering about the Taurus model, thanks for the review.

Never rest your rifle barrel on your rest, you lose all your accuracy.

Have one in .357. Negates some of the issues with them from what I heard. Sight suck and it still runs a little funky and mine has an unsupported chamber to add too that I don't know how it effects it.

I wanted one of those, but they didn't make them for very long.

Interesting rifle don't think they are still made but with hot .45 Colt rounds like Buffalo Bore or Steinel could be a fun hog killer.

Several years ago I bought this rifle from Cabela. On the first loading a cartridge jammed in the action and I was unable to remove it. Neither could Cabela so they gave me another which was a carbine. This too was prone to malfunctioning at times so I got rid of it. On another subject: I have some lead ingots stamped PBWT. Anyone know what that means?
@johnhunt97922 жыл бұрын
Total guess, but I’d say they were melted down from either fishing weights or wheel weights. Pb atomic symbol for lead; Wt maybe weights. Only way to guess is a hardness tester.

Had that same jam in mine were it would lock the pump up. You have to completely disassemble the gun to fix it and the manual literally would say to give it to a smith to fix it. Because they are a little sucker to put back together and would get shipped back to them in pieces till they voided the warranty on them.

I have one of these,operate the action briskly and you wont have a problem.wear safety glasses,some 45 cartridges have a slight powder,,,gas leakage?something going there.has a real hillbilly look.
@hunterdeleo55422 жыл бұрын
They all had large chamber issues and needed higher pressures to seal the chamber. Cowboy loads were noted to spit at Cowboy Action Shooters and this was really the only market Taurus was catering too with the gun. Short lived product.
