I was mostly mentioning the resilience and chemical properties of paint, regardless of whether the video was actually setup or not. Science has come a long way, over waxing the paint repeatedly. Worst part is I had a knee-jerk cringe at the pressure washer on the interior, then remembered that a pressure washer is far and away not the worst thing to happen to that interior.

LOL,,,,NO! As an excavation contractor for over 35 years I can tell you the operator did not treat that car with any care. We have to dig up existing utilities like gas, power, water, sewer and telecommunications all the time with out damaging them. There was no reason to hit such a big and easy to deal with object.

It was even dumber to bury. What a fool. And the way people go on bleating about "sustainability", and yet we have these levels of retarded waste in the World. That could have at least gone to the diamantlers,sold as parts, or at the worst turned into a bale of metal and be rendered down. Very very wasteful, but still ultimately not as wasteful as burying. What a fool. What an absolute fckng moron to have done it. Only worried about the bottom line and what suits HIM first and last. Screw the World. I am FAR from a retard climate activist as that's a pure hoax, but in fairness waste is waste and people like this previous owner just need to cop themselves on and realise that waste really does end up costing everyone and everything in the long run. Had it been a Hilux it would probably not have broken down in the first place. But if it against all odds should have happen I believe it would be reasonably inexpensive to get it running again.

It's a disgraceful situation to have occurred. Whether you blame the accountants in the manufacturers who put ridiculous pressure on earnest engineers to cut ridiculous corners in quality control, or you blame a wider confluence of economic factors, for such fine units of considerable modernity to be thrown in the ground like rubbish, is beyond shocking. It's unforgivable.
