I know that this has not been an easy time. I am glad to see Tavarish diving back into something large. Not that he needs to constantly top himself. Just that I enjoy his problem solving process, and I learn a lot form what I see here. My hat's off to you, sir.

As much as I LOVE the idea of having a P1, due to my work in the insurance claims industry I can tell you that you would want to avoid a flooded vehicle just about 100% of the time!!!

Been Buying Salvage and Rebuilding in Linden NJ for 25 years ... I got one from 2012 Hurricane Sandy Flood Car from Long Island IAA. My inside guy at Brooklyn MB Dealer's Shop told me this almost new 2011 w 1,820 m E350 4Matic Sport was left on lowered lift inside shop, so no rust under seat rings, yet was X'd Out as a Total Mid-Door Flood Loss. A $70K Car New, my 2011 E350 4Matic Sport with Auction Fees,Tow with a total cost $14,800.00 that includes OEM accelerator pedal assembly, carpets and floor pans rinsed and cleaned and started right up. One year later had to replace lower mounted alternator, other then that, today I still own this Silver Gray Benz (was a BDay Gift for wife's 40th). She's a non smoker with no kids, 74k on a 12 year old car and still looks great. I was very lucky with this Flood Car but many other Rebuilders here in Jersey were not so lucky, so we only bought flood cars for parts ever since Sandy. I will soon sell it very very cheap to a friend for good continued Karma

I was one of the lucky electronic engineers working on the design of some of the parts in this car. It was the first ever road car to get OpenGL GPU for it's instrument displays. The engineering & love that went into it was the very best of what everyone could throw at it. Still more beautiful than anything they made since in my opinion, such a joy to see.

I’m super excited for this build. I was one of the volunteers going around on rescue boats throughout the neighborhoods and will never forget how sad and disappointed I was when I saw this car smashed up sitting in the draining salt water. I never thought it would become a build, let alone on Tavarish’s channel.

The problems with flood is electrical and hidden mold, as long as you don't try to run the motor wet. Sea water will rust you out fast, so you have to rinse and recoat everything.

I felt physical pain seeing that P1 in the drink back when that vid first surfaced. I am so happy you're gonna nurse it back to life. A true piece of art like the P1 deserves it.

I really, really thank you for doing this. The world we have right now is crazy, and there are so many reasons to give up on everything. You are fighting for all the good and awesome things that our time has given us, and you are doing it exactly the way no one thinks can be done: taking the most difficult task and saying "this deserves love, this deserves care, and I won't let the chance to at least try to give it the opportunity to love and share it's worth go by, because I want to do it and I can make it". This has all your work and all the support that so many have given you all these years. You and your friends are the strenght of so many... And you are showing the world what should be done with the valuable things that are beaten up. Again, thank you for not saying "it's not worth it, it's too much work and effort and money". And to everyone who thinks that way, now you can see that, crazy as it may look, it is a way of doing things, and one that can bring good things back to our lives. It's difficult, it's not necessary, but we do need more people fighting for what seems lost, especially the things that need exxxtra effort to bring back to life.

I just have to take a second and marvel at both Tavarish and this amazing accomplishment/ challenge set before and how the KZfaq platform has matured to the point where something like this (and so many other projects) are possible. Screw legacy television, this sort of content is where the real excitement is at.

If this car drives again and spares itself from the junkyard it will be the most infamous modern hyper in our time. Tavarish is about to cement himself into the hall of fame with this one

Man this is one hell of an undertaking and I respect it, please check with the manufacturer if the tires are glued because slipping rubber creates a hazard in every way possible.

i would immediately dismantle the pan, trans housing an differential or at the very very least changing out any old fluid as flood vehicles often get waterlogged internals. most vents on the housings get inflitrated by water and thats a huge issue

The P1 is without a single doubt one of the most gorgeous, impressive exotics of the modern era. The yellow and exposed carbon really set off the lines. I can’t wait to see the next installment 🤘🏻

I know the smell. It's a smell I'll never forget. I spent 2 weeks after Hurricane Ian cleaning up the flood cars like this and delivering them to Copart yards like this one as an out of state vendor on the catastrophe team. That smells,sights and people I'll remember for the rest of my life. We spent most of our time dropping in clewiston but the punta gorda south yard was our secondary drop.

No matter what the outcome is this has to be the coolest thing you have done so far. Seeing that electric parking brake release feels like winning a small battle in what is going to be a long war.

to be honest i've never been that stressed while watching a video , i'd say tavarish has gone crazy but given what he has done with the 675 i can say that if someone can get this car working again he's the man for it
