TD5 Defender indicator stalk replacement XPB101290G

6 ай бұрынThe beam/flasher on the indicator stalk (XPB101290G) on my TD5 has been poor for a while now and as I had a couple of hours free and a spare unit on hand, now was the time to replace it. The video describes how I replaced mine. Yours might be different!
There are at least 2 variants; genuine/OEM or after market. I choose the Lucas part, a little more expensive but should last longer. Let me know what you bought.

Hi, thank you for this video instruction! I have a broken high-beam switch in my LHD 1999 Defender TD5 110 that needs replacement and I was looking for info on how to do it. Seems to be an easy job and the LHD models have the same steering column as the RHD version, Land Rover just moved it from the right side to the left side 🙂 I also decided to order the "Boomslang Performance Headlight Loom" to get better lights on the low beam. 👍 Thank you! My 1999 TD5 has no horn nor headlamp flasher and indicators dead wobbly. Currently in my local garage (defender specialist) for review/replacement - hope it's this and not another electrical thing. Should have done have done it myself I suppose but couldn't be bothered!
