Thanks for this! Do you also plan to show how to upgrade the gen1 shells of the cam870 to gen2? Any info appreciated! Keep up the great vids

Not sure if it was you that messaged me on FB earlier about this? GEN1 being the original shells that goes into the cumbersome CO2 loader, GEN2 being the Smart Shells with a built in valve, and now GEN3/MKII which is gas-in-bolt system where the shells do not hold the CO2. GEN1 shell to GEN2 shell can be converted with spare valve stems from APS, simple switch. Valve stems: 88g fill adapter: www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=872 Paintball fill adapter: www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=871 There is no upgrade path from GEN1/GEN2 shells to GEN3/MKII shells. The best thing you can do if you have a lot of GEN1/GEN2 shells and happen to end up with a MKII system APS CAM870 is to buy a replacement GEN1 bolt and replace that in your MKII rifle. APS CAM870/GEN1/GEN2/Smart Shell compatible bolt: www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=649 Personally I will stick to the original APS CAM870 GEN1 shotgun systems with GEN2 Smart Shells. MKII gas-in-bolt is 12 shots per fill in the bolt which just doesn't do it for me. And finally, I will be making a comparison video of the GEN1 and GEN2/Smart Shells as well as an instructional video on how to upgrade GEN1 to GEN2/Smart Shell system :D

Hi, how are you? I'm a big fan of APS 870 and I see that you understand a lot about it. I wonder if it's possible to convert my APS870 to APS 870 MKII? Here in Brazil does not have so much information ...

Hi, To convert an original APS CAM870 system to MKII you need the following: APS CAM870 MKII bolt: www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=1158 APS CAM870 MKII shells: www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=1157 / www.aps-concept.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_115&product_id=1156 You simply replace the entire bolt unit and use the new shells :D
