맞아요 저두 투에니원을 더 신나게 들었던 세대라 물론 지금 블핑꺼두 열심히 듣지만은ㅋㅋ 박봄은 정말 걸그룹 전성시대에서 독보적인 유니크한 음색이었죠ㅋㅋ 근데 뭐랄까 라이브 들을 때 항상 불안불안한 느낌이 있었어요ㅋ 신기한건 절대 삑사리가 안남ㅋㅋ 굉장히 힘들어 하는거 같으면서도 모든 노래를 잘 소화하는ㅋ 로제는 박봄과는 또 다른 유니크한 느낌으로 전 좋던데ㅋ 로제는 그리고 팝송이 더 잘 어울리는거 같아요

퀸덤에서 유앤아이 시작될때 눈물나는거 겨우 참았다 진짜... 당시 투애니원 팬도 아니었고 굳이 따지자면 jyp파던 입장이었지만 이노래 인트로는 진짜 내 과거를 통째로 울린다고 해야될까???... 뭐 그런 느낌이었음. 반갑다로는 표현이 ㅈㄴ부족하고 하여간 뭔가 복잡한 심경이었어

@@ssj-rose4572 Blackpink wouldn’t be able to do half of what they have “accomplished” if 2NE1 didn’t happen. They were the first successful girl group who helped push new concepts. Park Bom is known for her vocals and has been praised by many artists for that. People always saying “BP is” don’t know who paved the way.

2NE1 debuting was a big deal back then, especially because Big Bang already had its hold as a top boy group. But Park Bom was the one that was most anticipated because she had already featured in YG tracks and videos. Even as a trainee, she already was famous.

True. CL also had featuring songs before debut. Dara had a whole nother country enamored with her unique charms. Pre-teen Minzy was killing it in local dance competitions. However, Bom was probably more famous in Korea than all her members.

@@Dyob21 Bom is the most famous 2NE1 member in Korea. Dara is the most famous in the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries. CL is the most famous in countries that speaks english in the west and in some parts of asia. Minzy is the only member that doesn't have a choke hold on any country.

I think they were trained to sound like her bcoz Park Bom's voice was a massive Hit in the industry, so I think there is a big chance that YG wanted to recreate that scenario again. No hate to BP they did a great job, and I know that they were also pressured bcoz they will be compared to 2ne1, but they did great they carried on with their own strength .

it's true that these days kpop only focused more on looks and appearances. They don't really mind the talent, all they want to see is that if you're pretty or cute then you're going to be famous but if not, just keep your mouth shut you're not going anywhere. Also, they don't have great vocalists and vocal powerhouse in this era, well there are some. The only matters are views and charting not the good quality music which make 2nd gen era the most memorable era of all.

Honestly there are people who are almost tone deaf and yet they still made it in becoming singers - just for their looks! While super amazing singers get rejected for not being pretty or handsome. Not fair at all! I feel like this is especially true for females in Kpop- maybe it has to do with their fanbase tho? Because female’s fanbases tend to not be as loyal for as long either. Like it’s not unusual for boy groups to be popular for many many years. But girl groups generally only stay in the top Three or five girl groups for maybe five years at max usually. Only in rare cases have girl groups consistently ranked in the top three groups for more than five years and most can’t even go more than ten years while still being regularly active. Really sad!
