In this China vlog, I am out in the Beijing freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions visiting the Temple of Heaven. I tried to get to the Forbidden City but the tickets were sold out. Living in China and seeing people enjoy life like everyone everywhere should be doing. PEACE ✌️

Some beautiful outfits, especially to see them with the snow and temple background. Our temperature has dropped significantly from 28 degrees down to 9 degrees so feeling the cold. The coldest we get here is about 5 degrees. Think I will go and have a coffee. 😉

It was a stunning day and for the reason you said Ron, the clash and contrast of the colours. The coffee I had turned into a beer and burger in that very odd (in a great way) restaurant 👍 enjoy your coffee 👍

From tropical country, I definitely want to experience winters and snow. Was in Beijing Jan 2018 for two-day business trip, though morning is minus but didn’t snow. Hope to visit Beijing for one week in near future to tour the Great Wall and forbidden city, etc.

The park is huge and in the summer it is full of people doing many activities - a special place to visit and a must see in Beijing. 👍

It is so popular and when it snows, as you can see, everyone comes out to take photographs there - a stunning place and highlighted even better with the snow backdrop. A beautiful blue sky would have just made it spectacular but you can’t wish for everything at once 😂

Temple of Heaven. I was there in 1997 and again in 2008. Such a beautiful site, even though, hailing from Taiwan, I'd seen many traditional Chinese buildings.

It is a beautiful place and you would have seen some changes to the park from 1997 to 2008 and even to now as it is such a popular attraction and it is constantly infested into making it even better. I hope to get to Taiwan soon ❤️

The Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, perhaps the most recognizable landmark in Taipei, is obviously modeled on Temple of Heaven.

I love being out in the snow. . I liked that car themed restaurant/bar though the wife would refuse to sit anywhere near the car stuck to the ceiling. She'd be convinced it'll fall down... lol We'll have to organize a meet up next time I'm over in China, which will next year at some point.

Strictly speaking, this building is not a temple, it is a place of priests, and can not be defined as a narrow religion. The emperor was begging heaven and the gods for protection on behalf of the people. Heaven here should refer to the laws of nature.

The British monarchs only speaks to the almighty on the day of their coronation when the annotating oil is applied (this is why TV cameras are shielded from public view), the emperors of China speak to the almighty every year of their reign at the Temple of Heaven.

The emperor and his officials begged for protection from heaven and heaven. This is not a religious act in the narrow sense, and it is also related to the legitimacy of the emperor. Unlike today's noise, in ancient times, this was a very serious and sacred place.

I like this non-commercial average person view of this popular major tourist attraction, but music near the end could be better, a bit despressing and disturbing, and not culturally matching for such peaceful scenery.
