For low budget gifts I can always use pencils and tape measures. I like the small 6 & 9 ft tapes because I rarely need to measure anything over 3-4 feet and don’t need to be carrying that 25ft tape around all day.

I’d love a planer. I have a cheap hand plane to work with to get to know and used to before the huge purchase of a good one and more. For a lot of things a planer is more beneficial for me. I made a track for my circular saw so I don’t need that. Clamps would be a great gift. Especially parallel clamps or pipe clamps. Good video. Might have the wife watch this lol

I appreciate the support. I would say a planer is the important one. You can make all kinds of sleds with them so they can act like a jointer too.

Just a quick question for you! I am a fairly new woodworking channel and have a fair amount of videos. I feel like they’re good, maybe not great but good at least, but can’t really get a lot of views. I feel like the thumbnail and title are pretty good, but maybe KZfaq just isn’t recommending them, you’ve got 8 videos and quite a few views. I’m not looking to blow up, just get decent views, any advice?
