In 1987 he was a sensation in the Uk and no wonder - He was totally unique and different, the big soul voice was a shock!! His vocal range was astounding, miraculous and amazing. If you just heard his voice you would imagine a very black soul singer and then when you saw him - WOW Wow wow!! I think he must be the most beautiful man I have ever seen green compelling eyes, dreadlocks AND HIS BODY (To die for!!). He was young, fit, a total exhibitionist and attention seeker, his dancing was like nothing else we’d ever seen before - a mix of salsa, disco, and gymnastics!! It was eccentric and bizarre at times and he loved to tease us with his body and suggestively sexual performances. Women loved him - were CRAZY for him!! And it was his stratospheric rise to fame that was his death!! When he said ‘I’m a genius’ it was a steal from Oscar Wilde and a tongue-in-cheek joke but of course the press jumped in and called him arrogant. I think his statement was correct- he was a genius!! As an artist, as a performer, an entertainer he was totally unique, stunningly beautiful - a male version of Rihanna!! I love Rhianna and could watch and listen to her music FOREVER and I realise now that I’ve found him again that I TOTALLY ADORE HIM and would listen to his music FOREVER. A whole generation has missed out on this AMAZINGLY TALENTED ARTIST so please please all you 20 year olds - LISTEN TO THIS VIDEO - His music is as unique today as it was back in 1987. It was probably recorded in Munich or Milan around the late eighties or early 90s. I rediscovered him during 2020 COVID lockdown and fell totally in love!! He had it ALL! The voice soulful, his vocal range was stunning as were his looks, his body, his moves I think I could listen, watch and adore him Forever. However I was very happy to discover that he had found happiness and is still writing and performing his own music in Milan. An unforgettable talent xx

It was shot in Munich in 1987. I bought it on VHS in 1988 and played it to death. Would buy it again if I found it on DVD. A beautiful, sexy man with that unbelievable voice and talent to match.

The time to make a commercial comeback has come to past. Today's audience won't appreciate him in an age of trap music and all things at a touch of a button. The closest thing of a commercial comeback for Sananda was his Wildcard album back in the 2000s. But it's extremely hard nowadays to make a "comeback" because not only has the music scene and musical taste changed so much, the scene is fragmented.
