My favorite: “You’re just believing the government facilitated Hollywood narrative that Terrance Howard is crazy.” Because Big Math™️ and Big Science™️ is obviously just holding muh boi down from freeing our minds to the truths of the universe - they gotta’ keep us in the dark for mind control because something something MK-Ultra in [the current year] by paying people to shill the “controlled narrative”. Or whatever the new talking point is with these things. Totally has nothing to do with Mr. Howard doing any of that on his own when it comes to making himself appear a certain way to the people that understand basic elementary math and science. Nope, never.

So when I saw him spewing again on JRE, I took some time to listen to what he had to say and in my view, he sounds just like those shady subscription "science" channels such as Gaia. I couldn't quite explain it, but I knew he was talking a whole lot without actually saying anything. Wave conjugation is a concept in physics, particularly in the study of wave phenomena and optics. It refers to a situation where two waves are related in such a way that they are complex conjugates of each other. This relationship can have significant implications in various areas, such as wave propagation, signal processing, and nonlinear optics.

I don't get why you're saying he knows he's not making sense. On the contrary his reaction when Rogan asks him about the planets makes me think he is not conscious that he's not making any sense. He gets suddenly defensive because he's not used to having to explain things more precisely and he's forced to resort to "it's common sense". Which is the go to argument when you can't prove what you're saying. And is very common among pseudo-scientists. But it doesn't mean he realizes he has nothing.

YOU can only come to one conclusion? Despite the fact that his clap-trap is untrue, I think it is possible that he is not intentionally lying per se. Schizophrenia spectrum is my estimation. Many people are being very gentle with him and I think that might be reasonable given the circumstances. Interpreting his behaviour as some unique form of artistic expression is gracious and perhaps not unreasonable. Anything beyond that is likely best left up to his family and friends and doctor. And, if a large quantity of people are interpreting him as a genius, the fact that 54% of adults in the USA have below grade 6 literacy might have something to do with that.

Interesting video Kevin. What baffles and frustrates me most about this Terrence Howard situation is how many people on youtube and twitter not only believe him, but even desperately want him to be a genius in the youtube comments. Why do you think that is? Do they think they saw something in one of his word salads and want to feel smart when other people say he is nuts? Is it something political?
@opinion8d26 күн бұрын
i think it mostly has to do with the fact that a lot of people cling to ideas and ideologies that give them the feeling that they have uncovered a secret truth about the world. whether it's flat earth, or the moon landing, or Terrence Howard telling them math and science is all fake, i think people seek out belief systems that 1) confirm their anti-establishment bias, and 2) provide a narrative that makes them feel like they're in the special group that "knows the thing". And the rising tendency of media illiteracy with the advent of the internet just adds to it, and people like Terrence are there to capitalize. Thanks for watching!

There does indeed seem to at least "some" controversy surrounding the square-root of [2] it seems, I asked [A.I. Search]: Indeed, there has been a fascinating controversy surrounding the square root of 2! Let’s delve into it: "...is there some kind of square root of 2 controversy?" Irrationality of √2: The proof that the square root of 2 (√2) is irrational is often attributed to Hippasus of Metapontum, a member of the Pythagorean cult. However, historical evidence is somewhat murky. Hippasus discovered that √2 cannot be expressed as a simple fraction (i.e., a ratio of whole numbers). This revelation challenged the Pythagoreans’ belief in the primacy of whole numbers and ratios. Legend has it that Hippasus was murdered by his fellow Pythagoreans for revealing this mathematical truth, as they were uncomfortable with the existence of irrational numbers1. Babylonian Approximations: The Babylonians, who used a sexagesimal system (base 60), naturally encountered the square root of 2. The diagonal of a unit square corresponds to 2-√2. While Babylonian mathematical sources typically provided examples rather than algorithmic specifications, there is evidence of a method called the Babylonian method for computing square roots. Fractions with power-of-60 denominators (e.g., 24/60, 51/60^2, 10/60^3) arose from numerical computations in their sexagesimal system2. Abstract vs. Practical: The square root of 2 has practical applications, such as measuring the diagonal of a square or sizing rectangular storage facilities. However, the Babylonian tablet YBC 7289, which approximates 2-√2, is likely a school exercise rather than a practical problem. Abstract mathematical concepts were explored even in ancient times2. Terrence Howard’s Unconventional Theory: Actor Terrence Howard once proposed an unconventional theory: “One times one equals two because the square root of four is two, so what’s the square root of two? Should be one, but we’re told it’s two, and that cannot be.” His perspective challenges conventional mathematics but lacks mathematical rigor3. In summary, the square root of 2 has intrigued mathematicians, philosophers, and even actors throughout history! -source, BING Deep AI Search

The truth is; Terrence is not standing on the shoulders of any giants. Also, he obviously didn't quit acting. Acting is what he is doing. He has formulated schizophrenic monologs. He has memorized a handful of them and randomly jumps between them while gaslighting and blame shifting. Not to mention playing the race card often and using cult like propaganda phrases like "that's what they want you to believe." "They are lying to you, they don't want you to know that..."etc He never breaks character, he refuses to answer any question dynamically by choosing a different set of words to shed light on some of the most vague and repetitive thoroughly rehearsed monologues. He also doesn't even pretend to care about scientific methods or the process in which relative facts are established in the sciences. In face he projects a large amount of distain for the scientific community at large, in a similar way to how the church is at war with science on account of dinosaurs, fossils and carbon dating. Likely due to the scientific community at large being the unsurpassable mountain for his bullshit and will eventually be forced to deal him the fatal blow. They are hoping he just goes away and loses his war for reverence, likely on account of not wanting to give him any legitimate platform since directly addressing his stupidity would make him more legitimate than he stands now.

Terrance is the epitome of narcissistic personality disorder and the Dunning Kruger Effect running concurrently. What makes it worse is there are those who believe him and sadly they will not research his theories to check their validity which sadly a 6th grade science student could debunk. Whether ideologically or racially some asssume that any success in one field must be universal so if Terrance was successful as a actor he must be a genius in any other which is highly erroneous. Believe those like Dr Tyson and guys like Einstein who have proven themselves on their respective fields and not the fame of a celebrity whos achievements only remain in the realm of acting and hollywood. Believe in results. Not conjecture

So right Kevin its amazing people are so gullible and so quick to believe this guy because he is a Actor. The Jesse Smollet theory! 😄

well why is every real number multiplied by 1 equal itself Terrance ? The guy clearly hasn't thought things through, 45 years of research ? What nonsense.

Dividing LIGHT to get back to the original SOUND???? I generally think he's schizophrenic.

There's really no such thing as sound. Sound is just vibrations through a vehicle, be it air or water or any sort of matter, and we have an organ in our body That translates those vibrations into what we think of as sound. If God wanted, we could have had a different organ in our body that translated those vibrations and made us feel a different sense.

i thought this also, then i looked it up. the same CONCEPT had been expressed before (by many different people in the middle ages and on), but not quite in the way that Newton expressed it. the exact quote i used does in fact belong to Newton.

@@opinion8d the quote is from Bernard of Chartres. anybody else using it is repeating HIS quote. issac may have said it but he was referencing bernard

The reason Terrence Howard is doing what he days, and says what he says, is simple: he wants to be important, he wants to be the one. Narcissistic people are delusional up to a point by definition. But they also have their delusion 'well planned' so to speak, so it's kind of difficult to establish how much he fakes it, and how much he is like that. Nevertheless, he is an idiot looking for some notoriety when he knows his time's up. ...And after this particular episode, my distaste for Rogan has skyrocketed.
