Can you check the ph of it? It has well and probably can use a hydrometer as well. I wonder if you can a refractometer. We use them at work to check the oil vs. water in our coolant in our lathes.

When I use to work at PepBoys we would use a pH test strip to test the temp. protection and of course the acidity lv. On the opp. end of the strip u could test the brake fluid copper corrosion lv. If your curious its from Phoenix Systems.

Those test strips are great to have. I'll add that a brake fluid water content tester "pen" is a nice addition to that.

taste test. if it's sweet, you're dead, but it's good, and if it's neutral, it's gonna freeze and crack the block and radiator

I've always been a fan of the test strips but I like this method and are more than likely to use this method in the near future. Right on 🤙🏾

I have a glycol tester with the 5 different colored balls inside. It has a scale on the side of it that corresponds with how many balls float.

Voltmeter. Test strip. Plenty of ways. That's not even the only style of tester.

Test the pH and seeif it’s producing its own battery or eating in the system away
