Can we just talk about the contrast between Tofu and Skermz in the first interaction? lol Skermz running for their life, almost panicking, and Tofu here just casually chasing them, contemplating locker placements on the map and the de-rendered scratch marks. Love it.

This add on combination is awesome but you have to play huntress differently. You really could have used chase perks. Enduring + brutal + MYC + Pain resonance would have been really decent. There were times in this vid where you stopped chasing an injured person to reload, when instead you should have chased them. Reloading as huntress chasing an injured survivor is fine normally, but with soldiers putty you can use your speed to your advantage, they expect you to be slow so youll get hits. You just need more practice with Puddy, youll see how dope it is

they had 4 years to make a cool 2nd ultra rare for huntress and they made soldier’s puttee. that addon could be a fucking b r o w n.

Soldier's Puttee almost feels like it would go well with any EXCEPT Iri head. that way if you nail someone with your last hatchet in a chase, it'd be easier to chase them down and finish them off while they're injured? I'm not a Huntress player, admittedly. Just my two cents.

Loved it! I also like it when you play against more skilled survivors, it makes the game more suspenseful. I felt like these games were a really good showcase of the addons and the potential they have with each other and also with Iron Maiden and Make Your Choice. A good showcase overall! I don't really know if there's a takeaway exactly but it was neat to see!

In my opinion, soldier putte is very good with iri head. If you miss your one hatchet, you are just a slow M1 killer. You would have to go reload while the survivor gains a lot of distance.

The people who DC in the second match all had Dead Hard and Decisive Strike. Lmao.

@ohTofu always love the content. At 7:05 I think you missed an opportunity for add-on synergy. 2 survivors, both injured, close together, and in pretty makeable hatchet range. I get wanting to keep a hatchet for a full health survivor, but by pulling a hatchet right around that timestamp and downing either survivor, you almost immediately get to start chase at 4.6 speed against the other injured survivor, at a pretty mindgame-able tile. Not trying to be a backseat killer. You've taught me so much about DBD over the years. I just thought I'd share my thoughts on how you might squeeze some more sweet sweet value out of the build. I wish Puttee strictly increased your Movement Speed by 5% across the board instead of only making you 115%. A small carry speed boost would feel super nice

original iri head huntress was wildin, but it wasn’t that bad imo. i’d take an og iri head huntress over a trickster anyday.

Haven't started the video yet, but all I can say is that I love doing a "one shotress" build with these add-ons and some exposed perks (haunted, devour, maiden ect) it's so good and fun!

I ran those add-ons for a Tome Challenge a little while back and it was awesome. I threw my only hatched right at the start and played Huntress as a standard chase killer the whole match. I ran Monitor and Abuse and it worked surprisingly well. Until that match, I used to believe what folks said about using Terror Radius perks on Huntress because of the Lullaby... but that is false. The Lullaby only makes them aware that you're with in 40 meters, but that's kind of irrelevant if they can't see you. M & A gives Huntress a 12 meter TR... combine that with 4.6 movement speed... they just don't expect it. Not something I'd do every game, but it was fun.

People D/C from Iri Head because it’s a ranged NOED that requires no special setup from the killer. It almost turns your secondary attack into a grab off of a gen on a health survivor. I still hate it, but it was disgusting before being reduced to one hatchet. The queue times are fairly long and then you get snuffed out by a single hatchet within the first 30 seconds of play. At that point some survivors don’t want to even give you blood points from the hook that you’re just going to use to get more Iri Heads from the blood web.

I kinda want to try double iri huntress with play with your food and save the best for last. Get the pwyf stacks, one shot down the obsession (yeah you lose a stack when using hatchets but oh well) and then run around super fast getting m1 hits and stbfl stacks, rinse and repeat. The Idea of zooming around the map as huntress sounds interesting to me.

YOOOOO, I actually unironically run Double Iridescent Add-Ons with Huntress at least 1-2 matches a week lol. You killed against these survivors. My build for Double-Iri Huntress, is instead of Make Your Choice + Pain Resonance + Corrupt, I’ve ran Iron Maiden, Discordance, Jolt, and either Ruin, Tinkerer, or Pop. It goes CRAZY. Guaranteed Gen Pressure + the value of Puttee and Jolt is noticeable.

Survivors can bring busted medkits, 2nd chance perks, toolboxes, bully squad perks, bnps. God forbid killers run their iridescent add ons.

I would have used long range aura reading instead of MYC

I see this more as a 'use iri heads to slug and use puttie with perks that work together' build.

While this add on combination works (especially if you perk up like an m1 killer), infantry belt + whatever still seems stronger on any halfway decent huntress. Mostly this gives players the option to play huntress in a different way, but double iri seems very expensive for that purpose.

I think the add on is situational. Like anything in this God forsaken game it all comes down to the opportunity. In your first match you snowballed because you had faster movement and "make your choice". Its a good add on to use with Iri because if you miss you still get a good chance to get an M1. Almost all the best add on are situational, in my opinion

I've been running double irri huntress with agitation, scourge hook, save the best for last and coup de gra. It's so much fun and survivors never expect it.

there might be an advantage in having your killer's speed change mid chase. it could through off more experienced players long enough to get a hit.

I ran this with a sort of chase build - I think it was enduring, spirit fury, bamboozle and PWYF - so that I could be a half-decent m1 killer when I inevitably missed my one hatchet.

My build here IR head, soldier's puttee Of course Thanatophobia, dying light, MYC and Iron maiden This build focuses on instadown with slow-down Survivor healthy...IR head Missed shot...soldier's puttee, can't instadown without IR head...MYC+ soldier's puttee, Survivors doesn't heal So no IR head/MYC value...M1+thanatophobia slowdown value, dying light Buffs obsessions healing speed... doesn't matter you can instadown, instadown with IR head, oh missed and MYC is inactive... soldier's puttee with iron maiden to reload quick, Obsession with fast unhook speed... doesn't matter your away from hook for MYC value, survivor hops in locker to Avoid IR head... iron maiden with soldier's puttee. Yeah it's disgusting if it works.

i like that people call iri head toxic when its not items that are toxic its playstyles. like the spam flashlight people that tbag. does that meab flashlights and crouching are toxic aswell? no because they help survivors, well iri helps killer to a faster easier win

The thing is soldiers putty is pretty much useless without the iri head, not the other way around. Also great play to skermz figuring out your add ons so fast. Also I kinda wish you'd shown the exact hit that got validated from his side. I've often wondered how they both look side by side.

im not a huntress player but the one with the ms seems like it would do better if you were sent to a bigger map. try to give you the option of trying to chase on a big map it feels like.

I enjoy watching OhTofu a lot. Very educational and good tips. But does anyone know of a good KZfaqr that mostly uploads survivor vids? Just trying to get more tips from watching good survivors. But OhTofu definitely gives me insight on killers for sure!

I'd say consider using deerskin gloves. That will allow you the ability to run a better perk than iron maiden. Opening up that perk slot I think has more potential value than adding any other add on + Iri. Lmk what you think though.

Ya the reason i quit dbd was because mmr was giving me boring matches wouldnt ever give me a challenge and on survivor it would just give bad teammates and a horrible killer and i had to just carry every game

I really don’t think Soldier’s Puttee should be run with Iri Head. I find that the best way of using it is playing Huntress normally and when you run out, chasing after and injured survivor ends up potentially being more time efficient than finding a locker, reloading, and finding the survivor again.
