The whole "hold W" thing definitely works for survivors when done right. Requires some good team work and individual plays but it's damn effective. I recently got up to rank 1 with Pyramid Head, and the most annoying thing to play against was when survivors would all be running sprint burst or lithe, and as soon as I got anywhere near they'd just bolt in the opposite direction as far as they could. Simple as that. If the other survivors are all split up doing gens it's an absolute nightmare to play against. Like do I chase the one who's just ran knowing it's gonna take at least another 20-30 seconds just to catch up to them, risking 3 gens popping as I do. Or ignore them, kick the gen, and look for another survivor, by which time their sprint burst is probably coming back online and they just do the exact same thing. It is quite map/gen placement dependant, as the big counter is if they're already against the map edge I can cut off the angle of their escape and considerably shorten the chase but sometimes you're just fucked and it feels hopeless.

So the pig's "amanda's letter" addon is kinda like the oni's "renjiro's glove" addon. It discourage you from using your killer's most used ability (reverse bears traps to slow the game, blood fury for faster patrolling the map and BAM BAM!ing survivors) in exchange for rather extremely useful and (near) permanent wall-hacking that makes tracking survivors much easier.

The "Hold W Squad" idea sounds fun! Plus, it would be interesting to see this happen on something like Mother's Dwelling

It's not that survivors hate the build persay, it's that they're not used to facing Pigs running this UR addon so they immediately assume you are wallhacking when you walk around the corner already attacking them when you had no way to know they were there prior. (Which is partly true I guess, since the addon is essentially a 12 meter wallhack, but the tradeoffs for it are so massive to Pig's kit that it's not worth running on most maps)

Holding W is a legitimately busted strategy as long as your teammates do generators. You hold W for over half a minute, get one strong pallet down, hold w for 40 more seconds, get to a pallet and throw it, go down because you’re a bot, 3 gens pop at the same time, killer DCs.

Get 4 survivors with an Exhaustion Perk, Vigil, Spine Chill and Stake Out. They need a medkit capable of healing at least 2 times. Regardless of your exhaustion perk, it and Vigil means it comes back quicker and you use Spine chill for notifications and Stake Out in the case of the killer being Pyramid Head. No pallets, only vaults, especially if you have Lithe as your exhaustion. Each chase is gonna be 35-45 seconds each. If the survivors time unhooks where they unhook at the 55-59 second mark, you can 100% win a game.

hi im the object ace that gave you the spooky salami medkit last night, i volunteer as tribute for the W game. i played a game of trapper once where the holding w thing happened to me since they were so scared of loops, if you dont commit they get healed and if you do commit you lose so much time, only reason i won was because i had to stay super uh.. territorial around hooks

I wish they had an add on for the old end game bear trap. If the survivors try to leave the map with a bear trap on, even if it's not beeping, it will still activate and kill the survivors.

When it comes to no windows or pallets against a “basic” killer, as a rank 1 clown main I can say that us simple killers are surprisingly good at adapting(at least clowns). When you really get good at bottle throws hold W players are helpless. Even when using pallets or loops most players get quite flustered when disoriented by bottles and slip up in their loops. For those players that don’t care for being bottled it’s just persistence is key like any other killer (which is pretty good since clown is a faster killer).

This video makes me so happy, I’m a Pig main who runs Amanda’s Letter as often as I get it and it’s So! Underrated! Take the survivors to Lérys and play a discount Scratched Mirror Myers, you get a good few gen grabs if you play it right, but it can work on almost any map, but especially indoor maps (I tend to play TT/Crate of Gears on Midwitch, the boxes are so far apart that you can get at least 1 head pop almost every match, though I’d love to give Letter!Pig a try on the school). I’d love to suggest M&A, it works great with Whispers if gen grabs are your goal! Thank you for the great video Tofu, I give you honorary Snoot Boops 🐷❤️

I always boop the snoot when going against the piggy but half the time half the piggy killers I go against Don't know of the Boop Snoot Law

I would say combat strip vhs and Amanda’s letter are the best add ons

18:30 the hold w dwight last until 18:50 while just running, that isn't too insane, but imagine he didn't run into the killer, and instead of running into the killer, he ran for 15 seconds, and then found a pallet loop. That's how optimal surviors chase. P.S : As someone who tries this a lot, i would say be careful, i sometimes pass a loop to get max distance, then run into a dead zone, so be careful.

I play survivor sometimes and the only time I've dc'd is when a spirit fully tunneled me the whole game. The only time she hit other people is when I was on a hook and when there was full health me next to someone who had been hit once she went for me. But yeah I've seen a few people dc in both my killer and survivor games. If I'm playing killer I usually let the last person leave, and once I let two people leave because the first to dc'd instantly.

See, I have always wished Pig's dash and crouch had more add-ons that helped. Like, why is there no add on's that increase her crouch walking speed even slightly? I love pig, but her traps are very hit or miss and i just love her crouch. I could easily see an add on that has effects if you hit someone with your ambush dash too. I do hope they re-evaluate her add-ons. Most of them focus on the traps and just dont feel like they make nearly as much impact.

Holding W is definetely strong. But it's better in the old maps nowadays. You just have to reach a tile like a jungle gym or a T wall and LoS the killer "pretending" that you are playing the tile, then just run away while he can't see you. Works like 90% of the time, actually works less against worse killer players.
